So Nostalgia Vale was made by Tyandor and Levis. It's a nifty little park. Check out the screens:

Hey, at least it's a great little park to cap off the season. Nice classic wooden coaster and the smaller rides were great too.
    Who made what?

I'm pretty sure Ty made that. Definitely a "Woodie of the Year" candidate.

I think the selection of the trees in the haunted mansion area was very weak.... The hacks were exceptionally well done. My favorite area was the ladybug on a ride (can't remember the ride). Nice job both of you!

    I Made

    The Haunted Mansion Area
    The theming of the Rocket
A part of the farytale area

    Ty Made

    The entrance area
    The clown capers area
    part of the farytale area
    The Rocket (wooden coaster)

    ---

the park was very nice to make and working with ty was new for me to :) .
the archy from him was really really nice and I couldnt top it :( , but I tried to compensate it a bit with some hack like the rockets that circle around that pilar in the rocket area and the working spare track in the farytale ride and the pont that keeps going from the one side to the other and of course the rotating train on the station in the rocket area :p .

my favorite part is the station of the train in the clownscapers area, ty did a gread job on that one.
But I also like my own recreaction of sleepy beauty's castle with deco blocks :) .

That woodie was really, really bad, spend less time on aesthetics and much, much more time on pacing, pacing.

thing is, they want aesthetics, not pacing.
then again, aesthetics come from good pacing, too :o

I really really liked this park, the archy was excellent and I liked the coaster. The only thing I wasn't oh wowing at was the villa, which was nice, but the colours were a bit dull.

My favorite park of the season though.

Nice park and i agree it was nice to put a cap on the season.

I agree with Phatage though, that woodie looked really painful going round those corners.

I kind of thought the sharp corners were a throwback to the unbanked turns you'd find on classic wooden coasters. But even though I did like the woodie a lot personally, I have to admit it's extremely sad how much I agree with ekimmel.

Can't seem to get this one to open. I'm missing some Amazing Earl ride. Anybody know which one?

To be honest, I didn't really understand Phatage's post until the later ones. However I really have to disagree. As far as the pacing goes I like to keep a absolute minimum of 30km/h (and that has to be very short if it happens) with keeping the minimum at about 40km/h. The flat corners are indeed a throwback to classic coasters and infact I did research in to classic woodies. Coaster in that time could very rough to begin with. Besides people simply are feeling uncomfortable with somewhat high speeds in flat corners (talking about rct). Now check the ratings with special notice to the laterals. It's max is 1.69G. That isn't very much compared to a lot of other woodies I've seen from myself and other people (infact it's quite average). For some reason people always think corners need to be banked. This is fine with me on steelies, but sometimes it just doesn't do justice to woodies to bank it. Think about it. I realised this three years back when I built the giant racer 'Dust Devil' in Shady Oasis.

But to get back on the other stuff, I actually built quite a lot more than I (and Kumba for the matter) intended to. Since my building speed isn't that high I set out to do 30% and I ended up doing +/- 60%. I was teamed with Levis also to cover for me and he did. It wouldn't have been finished without him, period, so I owe him a lot in that department. One drawback however was that our styles quite clash sometimes. As Levis indicated, he couldn't match my skill in architecture, but he was still invaluable to get the park together especially his help with the Fairytale ride, which would have been a nightmare to do for me.

An advice for you Levis btw, you have some cool ideas in your head, but sometimes you'll have to play more with your work. You can get to an incredible high level if you pay more attention to the execution of ideas. This includes to get a better sense for aestetics. If you can manage that, then the sky is the limit (or in more ironic terms: the spritelimit is the limit).

As for my own work, Clown Capers was one of those personal intimities to create the ride the way I wanted it to be exactly and I came quite near my goal. Most of the track design still comes from a wildmouse I stripped from EGAS and the basic idea for it came from that and again I did some research and this design was a bit inspired by the wildmouse at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. This ride was simply my personal favorite followed by the parade restaurant which also has an interior if you open the roof btw.
As this is the end for the H2H season I have picked up my solo's again and I can report that EGAS is on the road again and is scheduled to release in 2007 in which it will become a project that ran for 4 years. Also I picked up my other solo Enchanted Gardens: Wizards Vale which is the new official name for Project Magic. I'll try to have something for it for a fiësta assuming it doesn't come too soon.

edit* Zburns, what dat name missed for you. I included the AE-swim into the zipfile because I thought a lot of people wouldn't have it. Further it has the tilted whirler and the spinning cups I believe.

    lovely, quaint park.

i really liked a lot of the little details, the castle, the circus-like station of the wooden mouse coaster. The woody wasn't impressive but served its purpose. The ghost train ride was slightly dissapointing, sure. All in all a lovely park.

Apparently some people haven't been on an "Olde Tyme" woodie, cause that was a perfect example of one. It maintained good speed throughout and was NOT too fast thru any of the turns
