Anybody surprised? A Mala download only comes along every blue moon, and luckily for everybody, he decided to enter the Hi-Rollers contest, with his first ever RCT2 work, the absolutely bewildering Escalante River Falls. There are some excellent parkmakers out there, but nobody can makes more "impressive" or eventful parks then Adam Malawista. He technically tied with X-Sector's incredible "Crepe Myrtle Islands" for the head spot, but he won due to a tiebreaker. The park features two signature Mala coasters, a terrain-abusing wooden coaster (that will go down as yet another Mala classic, guarenteed) and a rugged Beemer, both featuring all the Mala trademarks...incredible speed, unique elements, interaction with landscaping, and daring ideas that most people wouldn't even imagine doing. As good as people like Foozy and ToonTowner are at RCT2, Mala has mastered it already, and in my opinion...could go down as the best RCT2 parkmaker of all time (he's already arguably the best LL parkmaker ever). Fortunately, Mala continues to spread his dominance over New Element, refusing to fade away like some of the other legends, peeking into our community every so often to unveil something out of this world...and then creep back into the shadows. Congratulations on the $25 (since less then 30 entered), and your first contest win ever at New Element, solidifying the Hi-Rollers Contest as the single greatest RCT Competition to ever be seen.
I actually liked this. Had an atmosphere and nice colours plus an own style of architecture. The devil thing was really cool as Blitz has pointed out. If the coaster didn't have that lift hill sin, and the park's layout was better, this would have been a very good park.
I have to say I was impressed. Some great ideas in that park and it was the best work I have seen from you. Props to entering and getting it in....only letdown for me were the coasters. Good job
@ Coaster Ed - No kidding. I thought mine was pretty good but now I'm thinking around 13-16, if this is last place.
Bigfoot - Nice job! The devil thing was supercool. The entrance was good as well. Only thing wrong with this park was that it was horribly bare and would've been much better on a 40x40 map or so.
I have to agree with Ed. The entries in this competition were really solid right down to the last place park. I have to say great work to everyone who entered!
This is going to take forever to get through! Oh well.
Anyway, I thought the park was pretty good actualy, definetly above average which isn't usual for a last place entry so the top 10 must be outstanding.
Hey thanks, guys, it's nice to see some supportive comments with a last place entry .
Yea, I didn't really get to do the park like i had hoped, I started it with about three weeks before deadline, and just a week before school....so the last week i just filled stuff in....
But it was fun in any case, and i had a blast building the 'devil' in the center of the park!
And sorry you feel the story was a rip of BS TPM....
I can't wait to see the other 19 entries...so release them..now.
Iris always said that ALL of the high rollers entries were of great quality, and if this is the lowest of the greatest...then I think the greatest park ever made could be on it's way.
