    Six Flags Georgia Logo

colby is back again with Bronze number 3, Six Flags Georgia. Whilst his previous Six Flags creations have been designed from his own imagination, he takes an even more realistic approach this time with an actual park recreation. | Read On...

Although I don't have LL anymore, I spent a good 10 minutes looking at the overview on the release page. I really like how the parachute tower and freefall are still at the park even with the B&M hyper, when in real life those were removed for Goliath. There are several parks I have thought about doing something like this for - a park remake that's not a full recreation. Almost like an alternate universe version of what I'd like the real park to be.

this is actually a really nice park. It says something that it was made so long ago yet still had such charm. I'm a big fan of the alternative universe idea in park recreation, OK the styling is starting to show its age but its a worthy Bronze.

    Nicely done Colby

Yep. Obviously this was my favorite of the bunch, though I'd be hard-pressed to tell you why exactly. It just had a lot of charm, really.

I didn't think this was the weakest but it certainly isn't the strongest.

Again, I wrote the write-up so my general thoughts are in that.

The write-up says that this is a recreation... It's not. It's a recreation with some user-imaginated things thrown in, might want to clear that up.

^It never states that it is a 100% accurate park recreation. It states that it is a park recreation, which it is, whether it is at all acurate or not.

Okay, I see where you're coming from, but unless you put that in the fine print down at the bottom of the screen people won't know that. I read it and thought the writer (you) didn't know that this wasn't a SFOG recreation.

    Just sayin'.

Yeah i was also like wtf?

People, it's the exact same thing as what I've done to the sfmm scenario, but here colby took it a step further.

Unfortunately I cannot view this ingame, but the overview looks great. I like your location for the hyper but I can't forgive you for taking out Ninja :p
  • Luketh%s's Photo
Yeah, I understood that after looking at the overview, but the way Louis! had written it made it seem like the park was a total recreation, and anybody who doesn't know what SFOG looks like in real life could be a little confused. Small mistake, no big deal, but in the long run it could cause some confusion, so I'd suggest somebody clear that up. I'm not trying to point out someone's mistake for the sake of making them look like an idiot, I'm just trying to help out.

I agree, though; Ninja is freakin' AWESOME! Take out something else, not good 'ole Ninja!

Growing up, SFOG was my home park and the Ninja was definitely one of the worst head-banging experiences of my life.

I really like doing psuedo-recreations. I try to built the exising park exactly as it is today and then think about the park 5 years out. I think I originally had a year attached to the park title, like Six Flags Georgia 2008.

I'm glad that some of you are appreciating my classic, realistic park style. I am working on a couple parks in rct2 that i'll post to the Advertising District soon.

Also, thanks for doing the write-ups Louis.
