It's a "generic amusement park". And happens to be incredibly impressive. And don't say it was impressive because it was the first thing of it's kind because that is stupid. If a submission came along on the same lines as WWAP and was just as impressive people aren't going to think oh well this is an amusement park so i'm not gonna have this win spotlight.
If a park is spotlight worthy, it doesn't matter what it is, it's still spotlight worthy.

WWAP blew me away.
That's not stupid at all.
If my previous reply was more extensive I'd have said that generic parks can be just as amazing as 'themed' parks, but with every 'generic' release the bar is raised. It's getting harder to surprise me.
When WWAP was released, I hadn't seen anything like it before. Moreover, it was innovative (interiors for example) and the execution is exceptional. WWAP raised the bar, most other post-WWAP generic parks were under the bar. I think the bar is being raised again right now by again CP6, with SF Carolina as far as I can judge.
I think some people would think that. Again, Paradise Island got Blockbuster instead of Spotlight for a reason.
True, but if it's not spotlight worthy it shouldn't get spotlight. To me spotlights aren't just amazing parks, they should be something unique/innovative too.

That is not what you originally said so that is not what i'm saying. You said that this type of park wouldn't win a spotlight and you need a different concept.
I said that it can win a spotlight.
Now, you're basically saying that it can win spotlight but the bar is being raised. Well that isn't what you originally said and by you saying that you are agreeing with me that this type of park can win a spotlight.
So technically you have taken back your original statement Which is good because what you previously said was just stupid. As I said a spotlight park is a spotlight park because of the quality, not because of it's concept. Sure concept plays a part in it but if a spotlight worthy amusement park was submitted it's not going to be turned down because it's concept is generic.
That is what i've been trying to get across.
