After 3 votes by the judges, the winner, by a score of 3 to 0, is... Blitz
Blitz advances to round two where he will face Comet in what is likely to be a great match-up of Fantasy vs. Realistic parkmaking.
OLE's writeup The second all LL match in Round 1 is between Blitz and RCTCA. Blitz has been around for a long time and has established himself as one of the best fantasy builders ever. He's only released a few things over the years but all have been amazing work and most follow a creative backstory. The Sri Vilstra Sanctuary also follows this backstory and is themed to a remote outpost. A large mine train winds its way around the mountain as well as a go karts and a flat. There's not a whole lot of theming but what's there shows Blitz's unique style. The whole thing could be peepable but in the rush to get the entry in, they were forgotten. Overall it's a bit of a letdown and not quite up to Blitz's usual standard but that was mainly due to computer problems until just before the deadline. Facing him was RCTCA who has been around for a while now but has seemed unable to really advance his skills very far. His entry Karts and Coasters almost looks like something built to beat a scenario. Two coasters, two flats, a go karts and many shops are packed onto the small map. The coasters are fairly well crafted and it's pretty impressive how much is on the map but the theming is minimal at best. The scenario appeal just wasn't enough to move RCTCA on in the competition. Despite the rushed entry, Blitz easily got 3 votes to move on to the next round.
