Right now, you're probably asking yourself why this didn't win Concept Creation, and instead was awarded Gold, right? One reason is that we can't keep giving RCTNW his very own kind of accolade. All kidding aside though, we can leave the true reasoning to be explained further by the The Management. Please refer to this topic for more information. So, despite the change-up in accolades, focus can be directed to RCTNW's AT&T Stadium, the brand new addition to his massive twenty map Hyatt Resort project. Read On...

What makes you think they aren't?
As someone who spends way too much time on the stadiums/arenas section on skyscrapercity.com, I'm obviously very pleased to see another RCT stadium. Is the endzone left open to get a good view of the lake and resorts? It would be awesome to see some boats anchored out there on gamedays a la Husky Stadium.
Congrats RCTNW, this is another masterpiece!

I would also like to thanks 5Dvae for perhaps the best logo. it's one thing to do nice logo with fance font and effects but to tie the AT&T globe to the football helmet was the touch that put it over the top. Dave - if your not doing this for real money, you need to.
I would also like to thank Guy Smiley for help with the landscapping. I was hitting a major block with what to do with the beach areas and I wanted a different look and I was happy with the end result. Thanks Todd!
I post more later but for now, thanks everyone

Btw, is someone on steroids who wrote the newsbanner at the top of the forum?
http://forums.nedesi...a...st&p=424783 It are 25 maps ...

Comet – Thanks
inVersed – Glad you like it
Xcoaster – Thanks for the high marks and I’m glad you enjoyed it. I also agree about the logo. One of the best the site has seen IMO.
Luketh – Thanks?
gir – Yes and no. Yes it was left open to get a view of a lake however it’s not facing the resort complex. I wanted to but this map had to be on the outside of the resort complex and during the planning, there was no easy way to pull it off so that it overlooked Lake Scarlett. Glad you liked it – BTW – how about them Huskies!
geewhzz – I agree about the corners and I wish I could have softened the transition using a 45 deg corner but those objects just don’t exist. As for the foliage around the beach, since this particular beach was not intended for guests to use, I wanted some growth. I was very happy with the work Guy Smiley did for this (Thanks again Todd)
Howl – Although the map is peepable, I never really checked it out to see how they would get around considering there are no attractions. Thanks
Turbin3 – Far from perfection but was as close as I could get it. Glad you liked it
rK_ - That was what I was hoping for.
Cena – Thanks for making it. As for the 20 vs 25 map confusion, the original plans on the first post was calling for 20 maps. It wasn’t until later that it grew to 25. Perhaps I should change the first post.
Again, thanks to the AP for voting on this and to everyone how played a part in it (Dave and his logo, Todd and the foliage help, Steve for the write up, gee and posix for putting up with me and others for the encouragement). My goal is to get 2 more maps released before the end of the year bringing my total to 5 released maps in 2009!

You are seriously like a machine though, you keep churning out these amazing concepts it astounds me how quickly you can build such large scale ideas.

just to answer your question (the answer is my opinion). in this section of the forum (the release topics) you are allowed to kick a topic if you at least give some good comment. I think this post has good comment so imo this isn't wrong and you are allowed to do this.
