    I'm obviously dissapointed this wasn't selected as a design considering the subpar typical designs of late. What really irked me was one of the judges scored this a 2 which is completey insulting. This particular judge has never given my work good scores or remarks.

    Yeah, it is a great park. Sadly, it seems like everyone needs quarter tiles and insane hacking to create a good park.

    Excellent park. Nice layout. I really liked Sierra Mines. Nice variance archy to smaller structures. The ONLY thing I didn't like much was the monochrome color scheme. If it had more color, it would of been even better. As it is, it's like watching a sepia tone movie.

    i liked this, but it felt a little immature, the foliage created a fantastic atmosphere though, major kudos for that.

    That shouldn't happen after I spent so much time figuring out how to handle objects well in RCT2. Could it be that I forgot to export this release or that rrcoal is a nonexporting dat?

    ^ Thanks geewhzz..... I don't agree on Spotlight since it's just a one coaster park, but I really thought a design would have been worthy considering recent winners (all B&M's with similar layouts and minimal theming that seems unfinished). I would really like to know why one judge gave this a 2 (which is below noob standards even). I know who it is from the email response and I know he's never liked my work before, probably mostly from my past ties with RCT Station and Masters. Just some people judge books by their covers and authors.

    This is why I do not like the announcement of parks no longer being anonymous. I first submitted this that way but posted screens a day or so later. I believe once certain judges knew who built this, they lowered their score.

    I'm sick of seeing so many designs that don't make it. Especially since nearly all the ones that make the accolade are all B&Ms that have similar layouts, and look like they aren't finished like Mike Robbins has said, but whoever gave it a 2, that is an insult. It disgusts me how someone works hard on this, and they get such a low score, as if it took 5 minuits to make.

    I don't know if I'm missing 'RRcoal' (probably am though) but, 'RRties' is what showed up as missing when I tried to open this. So, there are probably more .dats than that missing as well.

    i think you're over reacting a bit, Mike. I meant to say I voted it as a design winner, and I did.

    However, this is why we drop high and low votes. Even though one judge gave it a 2, he would have had to vote higher than the next lowest vote to even make a difference, and even then the difference would be very insignificant.

    Also, about the submissions being anonymous, we don't, and won't, tell the panel who made it before they vote, but we are posting the files AS IS when you send them to us. So if the builder wants it to remain anon, just do not put your name anywhere in the park, filename, or advertise and it will be the same thing...you'll be given credit when we post it of course....

    So really, even though admins are not going out of our way to make sure the panel doesn't know, the freedom still lies with you, the creator to do what you want.

    @Comet, I think you really need to re-think your statement. If admins punish and remove people who voice their opinions when we believe it to be dishonest it's crossing a nasty line of what we were trying to get away from, the power held only by admins deciding who wins and loses. We have to let them have their voice.

    lets start a club!, Ive seen about 6 submissions the past 8-12 months that were fucking amazing an got turned away for shit not even pertaining to the actual coaster design, they bitch so much about how a coaster needs to be about the coaster an shouldn't have anything to do with the architecture or certain surroundings, yet some people give poor scores due to the architecture and surrounds an totally ignore the actual RIDE layout an everything that goes along with it.

    mike, your a legend, don't sweat it bro, those who see the caliber know an just because it did not receive an accolade from a panel takes nothing away from the DESIGN it self, great work.
