well after a LONG wait to see if this would win VP, i was let down to see i waited for nothing . anyways, now its up for download. click the logo above to download the park and please, let me know what you think of it. heres a picture of the whole park:
well i was going by the way termina looks in the game and i didnt have enough room to make it much higher than it is now. the reason is that i wanted some flat land at the top and if i had made it higher, the path can only be raised one level at a time so i wouldnt have had enough room in the map for the path to go much higher. plus, this is only a small detail in the park, please dont be like that, comment on the normal stuff. about the file type, i have no idea why its like that. i searched in yahoo for "free file hosting" and this is the only site i found that had free hosting for files that are 5+ MB so thats what i used.
Entrance The entrance building is well layered and has a nice selection of colours which contrast with the surroundings extremely well. I like the little details such as the lamps and ladders that were scattered around, plus the flower pots etc... Overall a nice entrance, not much i can fault with it really... 8/10
Clocktown I am no fan of Zelda and i don't think i have ever played it, so i cannot tell you if it is a good recreation of the place or not... But i can say the architecture was quite good- the buildings had a 'mediterranean' feel to them, and i like how you divided the area into the north, south, east and west by using walls as dividers. I felt this area lacked that bit of detail, the buildings were a little plain, but they were elevated well so i can let you off for that. The clocktown tours ride was a neat touch, how it went from theme to theme through the area and the way you held it up across the paths was genius. I like the big hefty clock thingy in the middle, and the way the colours on the hands of the clock interact with how you coloured the flowers around the area. Although there are a few areas where the colours are not right, like the area where you had a mixture of dark blue, and red flowers... Which in my opinion did not go well at all. But, overall it was a very good area and worthy of a centrepiece of any park! 8.4/10
Termina Field Was this the area around clocktown? If it was you had a nice idea with the train running around the area like that.. The flower beds scattered around were a nice touch too... I think the bridge for the mini-railway could have been crafted a little bit better. 6/10
Southern Swamp One of your better areas in the park, a great mix of colours and architecture in here, i love the foilage you used around Odoruwa aswell. As for Odoruwa, it was a wonderful ride! Everything a multi-dimension coaster should be, fast, tall and disturbingly vertical. The intensity rating was a little high, but was rideable so i can let you off! I love the inversion that looked like a cobra roll in there, it was very well paced apart from the twist after it which hit at 40mph, which is far too fast for a twist to be comfortable. Floormaster was a nice little thrill ride, it fitted well with its surroundings and its colours were well chosen. Gekkhos, the spinning coaster looked as if it would be fun to ride! It looked a little uncomfortable and took some of them turns a little quick- and it also lacked a brake run which could have easily been placed on the end. But the stats were great for it. Also i forgot to say, the landscaping and plantation around it was superb. Woodfall Stunt Show, it was well placed, tucked into that mountain and the architecture for it was luvlay and hid the ride well. The log flume had a wierd name, but a fairly nice layout, not much else i can say about it really... Great area, one of the best. 9.1/10
Ikana Ruins The area that sports that giant B&M coaster, 'Iron Knucles'- what a brilliant name! Anyway the layout for it was exquisit, the first half of the ride is fast, well paced and intense. The ride does not die down after the brake run, which is a good thing... It thrases its way around the corkscrew and then the loop- which is about 2mph to slow... - just kiddin'. The only thing this B&M giant lacked was a brake run! All B&M coasters have a brake run, if this coaster had have had one it would have been perfect... The dueling-launched-freefall towers were a nice touch, with the jagged roofs and the architecture covered the station for it well... The station for iron knuckles, i felt it was a little bit cramped- and you had an arch on top that was a little uneccessary really, but the archy around it suited it perfect. The ikana castle was extremely well made, a nice solid building and the idea behind it was great. Overall this area had the best architecture in the park, i love the layout of Iron Knuckles and the landscaping was also, okay...
Ikana Graveyard Despite having only a single ride, this area was pleasing to the eye. You have used the 'horror' custom scenery very well and the green and black colours make the area look 'poisonous and deadly'. The layout for the vertical coaster was brief- which is realistic as most B&M dive coasters never reach the 2000ft mark. So, nice realisim there... The loop around the building looked brilliant, it was perfectly placed! The architecture was also nice in this area- and as i said before you used your colours effectivly. But because it lacked rides, im going to give it a 8.2/10 - which is stil good...
Mountain Village wow.. This area just ruled, it is very unrealistic for a park to have 'snow theme', but you showed all parks out there how it can be done. The wooden coaster, 'Ghot'- (wierd name?!). Well the layout was nice, i suppose it resembled a terrain coaster really as the design was very figure-hugging and kept close to the ground. Nie stats, station and archy- but i felt it spent a little too much time underground in my opinion. Wizrobe, beautiful entrance, especially for a flat-ride! The ride itself looked a little 'bent', (yeh i know...) Darmini's Revenge was awesome, a standard intamin chute ride, but it had the nicest station building and the landscaping around it was very 'arctic'. The dodgems ride was well executed and the bobsled was brilliant, the traditional layout worked very well and i thought it would be a fun coaster to ride in real life... Astounding work on this area... 9.5/10
Great Bay Cove ooo, nice area. Not too sure about the checkerboard pathing, but i suppose it worked well with the theme. I like the pirate ship you planted in there, especially the sails. Good thinking! Grygorg, nice inverter. The landscaping around it was a little flat. The layout was fine, with two exceptions... Firstly, after the dive loop you had a turn to the left, and then a sharp turn to the right, i think a bit of diagnal track would have suited here better... And secondly, the cobra roll was far too slow, i never thought it would make it round! But it did, and it must have been that little bit uncomfotable... The rapids were great too, nice layout and the foilage and theming around it was brilliant. The go-karts track was awesome! I love that towering station and the twisted layout of the kart-track, it must really be hell for the peeps to drive around! Bright, colourful, well themed area. 8.6/10
The Ranch Fantastic hack with the horses, it seems as though it is launched and yet it is not merged, or is it in any sort of launched mode... So i have no idea how you did this! It is a brilliant idea though, and the building around it is fab. I love the carousel, very 'farm-house-esque'. Good area for the kids, but could have done with a ride or two more... 6.9/10
Overall Superb park definitly worth a look at, this thing has made it into my top-twenty parks and i think it will stay there! The theming, colouring and overall inventivness of the whole park is sublime. I am very surprised you have not won an award for this, it is how theme parks should be built... I like the way the areas are divided by walls, and each one has its own entrance and exit. You really have put a ton of effort into this and it has not gone unrecognised. You can see how much you have improved whilst making this park, you can tell which areas you built first and which you built last... Looking forward to the Aztec park now!
OVERALL RATING - 9.3/10
okay, there is the review you wanted... now i am off the hospital to have my hands looked at as i think i have worn them down to the bone writing this thing!
wow, thanks a lot for that fantastic reveiw! w00t.gif it seemed like you were confused about the names of the rides. all of the wierd names (Odurawa, Gryorg, Goht, Iron Kunckles, Deku Babas, Wizrobe, Twinmold, etc) all come from some of the bad guys from the game itself (odurawa-boss of woodfall temple, gryorg-boss of great bay temple, goht-boss of snowhead temple, twinmold-boss of stone temple, others are various mini bosses). i did the horse race ride by making the whole ride with the steeplechase ride and using lifthill track where the flat track would go. then i made it have 20 mph lifthill speed with a trainer and then simply made it have invisible track an wala! again, thanks for the great review.

So thats how you do it. I've been wondering how you could make a horse ride type ride and now I know. I might just have to try and build the racetrack replica I've been thinking about for a while.
do you guys have something against me? is there a reason that no one except for X250 will download this park? i worked so incredibly hard on it an no one even cares to download and tells me what they think of it. come on people, before i was just asking but now im begging.
