Inject the NCSO straight into my bloodstream. I'll come back for a review but this is really fun, with a nice Intamin Spaghetti Bowl in the middle. Nice!
Game is giving me some trouble and I can't open this, I probably need to update again. Will say though that the aerial alone is incredible. Seems to me like you wanted to emulate alex, and it looks like you actually pulled it off. My favourite things are the custom Wawel-inspired tree on the little island at the top, and the use of totems around the top spin.
Hope to see it in game soon.
My guy going for that green name. I hope you get it mate, you've done enough in my eyes, love the coaster and all other areas of your parkmaking style are so solid. Fingers crossed for you pal.
I'm admittedly not a fan of spaghetti bowl or similar type coasters, but this is one of the most readable examples in this game that I can think of. Certainly a fun layout with nicely done custom supports and some good self-interaction in spots. The big sweeping turn on the water with the fountains & feeder line is such a great moment. I think the bright color scheme is absolutely necessary and really makes this thing pop.
Outside of the coaster, there's lots to see here. The big top spin is really nicely done with the large sunken facade. Lots of great buildings to see; definitely got a lot of mileage out of the totem pole object here, for nice pops of color. Great use of trackitecture roofs here, reminds me of the suspended coaster corner of age of sail. Tonssss of detail on the peep level, lots of great scenes that I keep finding and a nicely done little show scene as well.
For the negatives, I would say there is quite a bit of brown here which is all fine and good, but perhaps some more pops of color with the queue lines would have alleviated that a little. There's also not really a ton of gridbreaking going on, causing some of the pathing junctions to be a bit of a cacophony. Some modern day tricks can be used here to create cleaner lines and transitions.
Overall such a nice map. I've long been looking forward to that first NCSO design entry to clear 80, and I think this might be the one to do it.
i love the layout, its very hard to come up with an original and compelling intamin multi-launch these days. i think setting it into the terrain and paths does wonders for it
Just absolutely gorgeous Sammy. So full of life, atmosphere and very immersive. The coaster is so tight in that space, but it works perfectly. Really impressed with the supports, for some odd reason it really jumped to me... maybe because I hate making supports haha. Would be such a fun place to hang out for the day.
I'm just jealous I didn't make this myself.
alex-esque with SSSammy fun flair, love this. Great work.
haha SSSammy I loved the mechanic kicking the car, it was excellent. I'm impressed with how you managed to combine your imagination + NCSO objects + colors + buildings + foliage and transformed this into a charming, interesting and harmonious Park. I especially loved the double boat, carousel, Ahomla, Delivery Truck. I want to say that it is difficult to work with NCSO but you managed to do it in a very nice way.
congratualations
Yes! Sammmmmmyyyyyy!!!!! Wahoooo!!!
While I hate comparing builders to other builders in these scenarios because I feel it can de-value the latter builder's credit, I do agree with the Alex sentiment, in the fact that you have captured a level of "effortlessness" with this build, while clearly still being your own. It feels so much like the base game even when using more modern techniques and you're one of the few who have been able to accomplish this. The foliage is top notch as well as the colors too. That coaster is sick and slick also. There are quite a few beautiful transitions and graceful pacing moments that really left me staring at that ride for longer than most anything else. I think the one thing that I would offer as critique is the turn over the water after the second launch. While that's a beautiful set piece, it does feel off due to it's speed and being right after the launch, I probably would have tried to put the following roll before the turn if possible or just a different solution entirely. I also found the map to be just a tad big for the plot of land this area sits on. I'm not saying a whole lot needed to be cut off, but I do think the ratio between the coaster's size and the map size feels a bit off, for a design at least. All in all, though, it's fantastic. If you don't get a green name from this, I'll SSSmack the low voter for you!
Awesome release, man. So inspiring to see such great NCSO content. Loved the layout, and the park infrastructure + architecture were top-notch. I also loved the landscaping. You are one of the few people who can pull off true "semi-realism" with full NCSO, and it's cool to see.
Such a fun and beautiful map Sammy!
Love the architecture throughout the park. Some of the nicest facades and layered walls ive seen in NCSO and the trackitecture is done very tastefully, a skill that i respect a lot.
The coaster is a bit of a spaghett' if i may say so, but its a very very tasty and filling one and sometimes a spaghett' is all the body needs after all! The big swooping turn over the water is a touch fast, but very beautiful to look at. Custom supports are done well. The rest of the flow is mostly great and there is very good self and queue line/ path interaction, that make this coaster very fun to follow!
Very fun are also all the little touches of details you put all over the map. Love all the peep scenes you made (even using peeps as scenery lol). The smoke for the waterfalls is nice and i love the little delivery truck running over pedestrians ;P. Great stuff!
Lastly i want to mention my highlight of the entire map which certainly was the big top spin. Such a beautiful set piece with the lowered platform relative to the path, so peeps can get a great view at the action and the fountains and music add to the excitement. Very brave to shoestring an entire custom ride sequence like this! The shoestring does de-synch a little bit, but that did not take away from my enjoyment here. Overall it reminds me a lot of Talocan from my homepark Phantasialand which makes me even happier about my placement as a mechanic - thank you so much!
All in all a fantastic release that i enjoyed thoroughly. Hope you get that green name - you deserve it!
What an expertly made layout, the synchronization of the two trains on each portion of the track was fantastic to watch. Fantastic work Sammy, you remain one of my most favorite builders.
excellent map, what a ride and setting. i LOVED this theme. so warm, such great use of color, and the foliage / texture usage throughout was brilliant. this is a great example of bright, potentially clashing colors (yellow/pink/purple) used in exactly the right doses with exactly the right grounding colors (green/grey/brown) to work perfectly. just a really classy theme and map that shows really great taste.
the ride itself was fun to watch, lots of interactivity and kept me guessing. almost some optical illusion height variation going on which kept it interesting too. really solid scenery/ride use throughout the whole map too to create a rich and multi-faceted little area. beautiful overall, definitely my favorite from you ever.
This is some fine damn NCSO.
I think it's worth mentioning that though the coaster itself has amazing interactions with its surroundings, it's the many of the subtle uses of rides and trackitecture in this design that take it to the next level for me. I love the usage of steam engines for mist at the waterfalls, the mini-helicopter truck, and the river rafts being used as a canopy for the boat. Then there are the peeps and staff... some of the best editing of them I've seen in a park... the roofer hanging off of the roof while another one hammers away is such a cool and unique detail.
In terms of theming, the architecture is excellent and the foliage is composed perfectly. It's neat seeing the trees combined with bushes/shrubs to make them bigger. This is also a great execution of an African theme, something we don't see a lot of.
Overall this is some beautiful, near-perfect NCSO, and though you have many design submissions already, I hope to see many more, similar releases from you.
The interaction of the ride with itself and the surroundings is great, love the crossing tracks in the canyon and the path interaction, path design and the placement of all the balconies is excellent.
Rest of the part is some superb NCSO, I'm especially a fan of the foliage and all the clever objects use.
Congratulations on scoring 80%+ and making parkmaker!
First off, congrats on the PM spot. So well deserved. This design is just so much fun to watch. I echo when everyone is finding and saying but one of the thing I especially enjoyed was seeing all these peeps just walking around. So much fun watching them. As for the coaster, great interactions and pacing. I would hat to have to support it though. Great job and look forward to seeing what you do next
First of all, congrats with the score and parkmakership! Well deserved.
We've seen quite a revival of NCSO last years and it made me appreciate it more and more. Dzata is no exception, I like it a lot. Everything is very well detailed and also very clean and thus so easy on the eye to look at. It's an art of using the right amount of objects on the right places. The comparison with Alex has been made, and I admit I also got an Alex-feeling with this park. All kudos to you ofc Sssammy, we mean that as a big compliment ofc
The whole map is very charming, your great hand for foliaging and landscaping ofc comes in very handy to help with that. The coaster is also great, a hole-lotta track on a limited space but the whole lay-out is very flowy and the pacing is good and consistent.
Lovely map, liked exploring it and looking forward to see more Sssammy-stuff in the future!
