Description
Since my Username I normally build under (Djwessie), was allready in use, So I had to take one that did not exist here, which is also shamelessly the name of my YT channel.
- Dynamite Dunes -
A very rich oil magnet, has decided to turn a piece of desert into a large themepark.
Enjoy exploring.

Lovely, it captures that nice and dense scenario charm for me, while being upgraded with cso. Some nice buildings and attractions throughout, although i think the foliage can be a bit too thick in a few spots
Agreed with TimmyTuner. The rides were fun, if a bit fast on some of them. My favorite ride was definitely the log flume, which had some great theming and a classic double drop. Nice work!
Had to disable the music in ORCT2 to view this park as it was just a nightmare of mixed tracks from absolutely everywhere in the park. Is it not like this for you?
Otherwise a decent park with what to our eyes is a retro look. When did you make this?
started half 2022 and finished it at the end of 2023.
so 1,5 years to construct this project.
I'm building more towards a realism kind of park vibe, not going the fantasy way and everything needs to be run and maintained like it was a real operated park.
I use a lot of the classic CSO objects, and I developed my own style. Classis or not, this is how I prefer to construct things.
Most of the projects I work on take more then 1 year to do.
In this particular park I learned a few tricks and hacks and shoestring magic and plugin usage. It was a learning curve for sure.
I have a park pending which I did a MACK Doombuggy transport system hack, that I learned to do pretty much in this park.
So yeah,
I'm doing my own thing, It have to work for me.
I'm not going with the new current RCT-trends and for me that is fine.
I am looking for some trains that could work with the new project and can make the just released new track elements as well.
Every park is a learning curve.

I play on a 55" screen, so not a issue for me.
Expected this to be a scenario recreation, but other than a ride being called dynamite blaster I didn't see that. When I looked past that - and also put it on mute... - there was a decent park.
There's two things that really shine in this park. The first thing is ideation. The areas fit well together and each ride had a sense of belonging to the area and in the theme. The second thing is interaction and viewing points. With the exception of Timber Falls all your rides had their most interesting things visible by the peeps and you created several nice viewing platforms and path interactions.
A few things you could improve on. First one is ride layouts. Some are a bit bland, others are too fast and others look a bit messy. The second thing is your queues. They make mostly sense from a gameplay standpoint but not necessarily look good, especially with the tv's. I feel like with some themeing (or tricks to make them less visible) your park would already improve loads. I think if you either embrace or move away from the scenario esthetic that would also help.
True, But I left it as it is right now cause it is the way it was done.
For the music, yeah I play on a 55" Display so I have no trouble with that myself.
Sorry for everybody.
Congrats on the Bronze. I thought I had already voted on this and commented, but apparently not! I think theres a lot of fun ideas here and a lot of potential on display. I agree with most of what Chorkiel said in terms of areas of improvement.
A bit too many path islands, where path completely surrounds a ride area. But your theming is pretty solid. I think if you give each area/ride more breathing room, it'll let your work shine a bit more!
Thank you.
Yeah it was my first time trying a lot of things out, whilst keeping some things of the original map and some things totally re-shaped.
I am currently try to transform a lot of RCT original scenarios into parks that would work out, building them for real. I have build quite a super PC for my music production and there it runs OpenRCT on as well.
I see people having trouble with some of the speeds of the coaster which I personally do not have for some strange reason.
I'm not sure if it is my 8K 55" display (TV) that is causing that problem for me to be honest.
But thank you for the feedback.
looking forward to what you make next!
I teased a new project with multiple players: Evergreen Gardens.
I will post post a new teaser for that project soon.
