Description
Welcome to Sunny Swamps (aka Six Flags Japan)! This is my take on the RCT1 Loopy Landscapes scenario of the same name inspired by the Japanese cultures located in Hitachiomiya, Japan, first opened to the general public on May 24th, 1991. It is home to 26 rides and attractions including nine different roller coasters and three water rides.
Samurai Temple Entertainment Company announced the brand-new theme park had started its construction back in 1986 but there was no official name at the time until 1988 when the park finally has its official name called, Sunny Swamps. Originally scheduled to open in summer 1990, the company started to face some financial difficulties and decided to push back the grand opening date to next spring. The park had faced low attendance since its first debuted but found the way to raise its number with some new additions until Samurai Temple sold the park to Premier Parks in 1995 they have only added one new roller coaster which is Ninja (Vekoma SLC). They went on to purchase Six Flags several years later. Sunny Swamps was renamed and rebranded under the new name, 'Six Flags Japan', in 1998 with blasting new additions over the next several years including Kamikaze Zero (aka Superman: Koutetsu no Norimono), Bukkake Blaster and the largest roller coaster in the park's history, Ligma Ball (aka Kuraokami) until the company filed for bankruptcy in 2009 forcing them to sell their Japanese theme park to the new owners.
Toei Animation once step in and take over the park's ownership and operation from Six Flags but not without renaming the park back to Sunny Swamps at the start of the 2010 season up until early 2018. Once the Japanese animation company made the most difficult decision to sell the park to what was rumored to be the legacy Cedar Fair company which the Japanese government has shut down after the park management team says there's no evidence of them buying Sunny Swamps from Toei Animation. Citizens of Hitachiomiya was surprised the park confirmed the original owner, Samurai Temple Entertainment Company, is back better than ever after series of financial difficulties they faced nearly 2 1/2 decades ago and still operate the park to this day. The park suddenly announced their old and rough Vekoma SLC, Ninja, has been converted into a compact B&M Inverted Coaster for the 2024 season. There's nothing major coming to the park for the 2025 season.

That dive machine at the back is so cool, great job on the park Memes, it's a very good skill to get accustomed to delivering another full scale solo. Excited to see more from you.

A pretty fun scenario tribute, I like the decision to stick with the red tile paths all around as that's a big part of this scenario's look. The color choices and DKSO objects used also work well with the aesthetic I think. Ride design wise, I really like the custom support work, there's some nice interaction moments and I think the layouts are solid.

Some cool layouts for sure - I think that is definitely a strength of this park. Also interesting to see a traditional four corners park layout. But, this at the end of the day does feel very scenario-play like to me because of path layout, archy, and some rides felt a bit too simple/plain.

This park shows some great potential. I really liked the unique coaster layouts although some parts were a bit hit or miss for me (especially the B&M invert was the worst offender I think, the rest of the layouts was pretty cool).
Unfortunately I couldn't fully enjoy this park as it leaned so heavily on WW/TT objects and unfortuantely I don't have the expansion packs. For that reason I will refrain from voting on this park, as I feel like it would not be fair. But from what I can see I could see potential in this park. I hope to see more from you in the future!

For me, this park lacks cohesion and feels a little bit rushed. There's some object spam, blinding use of color and the landscaping could use some work.
There's promise in the coaster layouts, Ligma Ball is fun to watch. Some of the flat rides are quite nice.
I must confess, this corner of RCT-world does not particularly well receive WW/TT objects, myself included. This is because these releases to the game when they first came out wre highly anticipated and disappointed because the objects don't match the style of the base RCT2 objects. They're a little jarring to look at. The yellow trees here are hard on the eyes.
Overall, I'm just not totally sure what this is going for. I could have used a shorter description to the park to set the scene a little more concisely. I think a more concise intro there would help.
I think you are a promising builder and I've really liked some of your Six Flags Owl City screenshots. When you focus on exaggerated realism, fun things happen. I think this park might be what happens when your focus is not based on consistent source material.
I would say: carry on building what you enjoy! Don't feel like you have to adapt it to the "requirements" of New Element. But, if are so inclined, ditch the WW/TT objects, invest a little more time in macro planning and landscape, and build from a focused singular inspiration. Don't try to give us a park that's changed ownership 17 times - that's really difficult to convey. Just give us a straight up Six Flags park set in some US city like, for instance, Owatonna Minnesota, and keep it simple!

This park felt like some really solid, high-level scenario play. The outskirts were intentionally untouched, which I respect for this style. There were some legitimately nice touches here and there, like all the bridges over the water. You made solid use of many of the WW/TT objects, to which I would say I am probably more open than the average NE viewer. With that said, I think you can improve most on the quality of your foliage and giving each area more room to breathe. I also thought the layouts of the coasters were really solid and represent a good headway into that aspect of parkmaking. Solid work!
