Description
Just your typical 1960's Arrow Mine Train.
4th place finish in DKMP RCC 64 Mine Train Contest.
I made a 1960's Arrow Mine train in NCSO. Just your standard, run of the mill, family coaster - complete with an unnecessary amount of lift hills, winding through tunnels and forested terrain. The coaster is flanked by a rare sight these days, an Arrow Launched Loop - but it wouldn't have been rare in the 80's! Hopefully you enjoy the winding path, lush foliage, and retro ride selection as you explore the park, looking in buildings and searching for peep scenes. - No fans of this park

Congrats on your NE debut my dude! As I mentioned in my original review, there's a lot of influence from Swag and Mekkit that you proudly wear on your sleeve, and that's a good thing. Park is clean as a whistle. Details are as crisp as a fine dining dessert. As for the mine train (or The Mine Train as I should properly refer to it as ), I think it's perfectly faithful to what Arrow did for their mine trains. You definitely did your homework with this one. For me, this is a clear design winner, even if the coaster isn't as impressive as say, a B&M invert.

This is packed full of so many clean and well executed tricks. Stuff like the stairs, water edges, tunnels, fences, all great stuff. Main and supporting coaster, both capture the odd and classic feel of old arrow rides. Also got a good laugh out of the names...

I actually really like this. I think the foliage needs some work, but the structures and the layout of the park are great. I love that it's not merely a grid and that the path has a very organic layout.

It was really cool watching this come together during the build process. For my money, this is a really nice, clean design attempt that maybe just misses the mark for me for that 65% rating. I think where this design could have improved the most was through macro planning, which is hard because it's not just "one thing." Maybe denser layout for all the buildings, or just generally a more big-picture plan for how buildings, infrastructure, ride track, and path layout come together. I know this comment might seem unfair, but that's not my intention. I also know it was a time crunch, so mad respect on that end.
The layout was really solid, and I appreciate that you went for a more janky Arrow Mine Train. I love the BBQ area with the pig sign. So fun and so cute. Again, really solid attempt here and I know great things from you are immenent.
