It might go without saying, but this map is my favorite solo work from you so far. I think for the past several years now, you have really floated under the radar on many peoples' minds, and I am glad you finally have a substantial solo release like this.

The park is just so full of atmosphere; it's teeming with life. I like how you've captured the marshy coast of Charleston: not something easy to pull off within the confines of RCT. I think this would have been a formidable challenger in the original Grand Tour contest.

The facades are fabulous, and I really enjoyed the little cutaway with the jazz show. I think my favorite part of the city area was the little square along the diagonal road. Something about it just fits in so nicely with the overall composition of the area.

The layout itself is also great. It's a massive, towering beach woodie that would be soooo fun to ride. If I had to say anything critical about the map, it would be how the wooden coaster feels a tiny bit isolated from everything else. However, the air boats with the cool wake trick do help with this.

    Great work!

    Ya like Jazz?

Can't wait to finally take a look at this with my own copy.

We all knew you had this skill in you, Scoop.  So glad to finally see this released.

I'll post more thoughts when I have a chance to dissect the map.

    Congrats on the release!

This map is unashamedly high quality throughout. Really enjoyed viewing the park, the woodie is a monster and loved the internal buildings out the back of the map.

Congrats on the release Scoop, great to see some solo stuff from you. Tons of content, little scenes and atmosphere, and a lot to explore. The consistency of detail and clear thought put into every bit of the park is stellar and to be commended. Particular things I noticed; I loved the amount of peep objects you put in the queues to make those more full and dynamic. I thought the coaster's pacing was great though the bottom of the first drop felt a bit cramped. I think the macro is lovely and gave you a lot of space to play with different vibes while always feeling right for the map. I really liked the styling of the woodie with the gradient of blues.

I thought the curb treatment was an interesting choice. I've played around with this as well in the past and it's tricky, cause a full tile down feels too big for peeps, but anything in between makes pathway functionality impossible. Ultimately, I think it's better to fake it with shading that gives the impression of depth, but I like that you tried a full tile here. There were also some areas where the execution felt a bit clunky, just missing that final micro-detail that pushes things over the top in terms of crunch. I think focusing on your archy, particularly those smaller crunch details and textures, will help take your work from great to excellent. Excited to see the next project!

This was nice scoop, I think its a great showcase of how much you've improved at the game.  Lots of atmopshere and the animated foliage objects added a nice vibe to things while also fitting the location well and not being too much.  I liked the coaster as well, pretty good layout with a nice station and queue/sign area.  Maybe would of like to see a bit more ride details in there since it is a design but that's minimal.  I really like how you framed the coaster with the water and landscaping too, just really nicely done.  Overall things felt very much like I imagine these seaside southeast type parks to be.  Shades of Robbie's Comet for sure, but with a different coast flair.

I think the archy is maybe the only real weaker point, and perhaps a little overboard on all the peep objects for my taste, sorta made it feel too chaotic but that's probably a me thing.  Another me thing is not feeling like this is really a design but more of a spotlight submission, the coaster while the biggest thing on the map doesn't really feel like the focus.  Not a problem and I'll probably be the only person to pick on that but I guess that's what these comments are for right haha.

Overall very nice to see some solo work for you, it's been too long since we've gotten that.  The teases over the years haven't been enough for me.  I think a 75 is the score I'd give this, a very solid design but I would have liked to see a little more focus on the coaster itself to get higher.

What a great park, packed with content. Great music, ride design and the right amount of touches everywhere across the map. Coaster was great, the variety of architecture and such was brilliant. Loved every second of viewing this park. About damn time!!! It's criminal you're not PM.

I echo much of the thoughts from fellow reviewers above. Great work all-around. Bringing me back to my days in high school listening to Hootie. So if anything, thank you for that :)

It'll need a moment before we announce and bestow green love on you, so let me just say now: My sincere congratulations on cracking the 80% level! In fact you aren't even that far off the 85% Scoop! I'm really happy for you.

This map caught me a bit off guard. It came out of nowhere for me. I felt your exhaustion from Expo Miami and H2HX, and sure enough a couple days later this landed in our inbox. How?? I presume it was an older map that had been in the works prior for quite some time?

The town scene is just wonderful. So lively and vibrant, rendering its content with such love. It really made for rather strong atmosphere, and reminded me of some of the good moments you'd see in Grand Tour.

Then the main coaster, as the focus of a design, was almost just like a bystander. It was a nice layout, held its pace just well enough for its length, intertwined beautifully. But it was also almost entirely not integrated into the map itself. I suppose this was on purpose, but I still thought it hurt the park's macro.

Either way, this was a super enjoyable map, and is a well deserved achievement.

Really awesome woodie, but I do agree with posix! Overall product is pretty darn nice, you've come a long way.

This is so full of life, love the festival atmosphere. Great variety in the architecture, very pleasant color and palette choices and some great crunch and texture work. And the ride design was on point, the main coaster was maybe a bit off by itself but I've seen real life places like that, so not a real huge thing.

And congratulations on getting 80+% and getting Parkmaker!

I'm glad you finished this, it always looked very promising from the start and it would be a serious contender if it did feature in the GT. The music theme is added in so great, love the big Jazz sign, the gospel, orchestra... Alongside with the festivities on the street the maps gets a really vibrant feeling.

The little park is very believable, very fun. The woodie has an awesome layout and you did great on its environment. Also loved the station and of course, big fan of the Fred D fish restaurant haha. Only thing I didn't like so much were the beige spots on the path in the park, those stood a bit too much off of the asphalt path elsewhere.

Congrats with the design and parkmaker status, well deserved!
