    One thing I really liked about Meccha were the giant stadium screens focused on the peeps. It was a standout detail in a great park.

    Bux really was the constant on pushing forward this map, would not have been the same without her!

    I had a much smaller role than I wanted to, but I was on vacation the entire week before the deadline, and the first week I was on the park we were all still struggling with building on it. Fortunately, the team really brought this one through in the end, and I’m proud to have had a very small piece of it.

    DK park was swell. I don’t know the source material that well (I’m more of Zelda/Mario guy), but it was a super fun map that I think would’ve had a decent chance against either of the maps in the other semifinals match. Honestly, who the hell let Leon draft AVC…
    I know the DK map was a long time coming, and I hope the builders had fun with it in the end.

    huh, thought i left a review lol. better late than never

     

    meccha: obviously fucked. One of the two best parks in this competition and its not even close. I already spammed all the amazing signs in the discord but this park is really flawless, from the giant mechs to the surprisingly readable archy and insanely crunchy landscaping and junk. its so good it keeps me up at night trying to figure out if I could ever get to this level

     

    DK: I was really excited to see this after seeing the tests so many times in previous years. I like how this ended up, but now that I understand how rushed it was, the composition makes a lot more sense. I do like pretty much everything here, even the giant red factory coaster. I particularly like all the landscaping and winding paths, and the go karts are a massive highlight. I do wish that the whole thing was taken up a notch though. I wish the temple was bigger, I wish the mine carts were crazier, and I wish the villages were larger and more bustling and lively. I was particularly hung up on how similar the water coaster and the entire surrounding area was to Pirates!---it just felt like I had seen it before and so the impact was lessened a bit. All the pixel art around the map is extremely impressive, it must have taken years to get that right---but I do think it feels a bit random in places, like it was just plopped there for fun and not because it actually made any sense to do so (in contrast to the sign work in meccha or screameasy or even mario land, where they were explicitly a part of the world). Regardless though, its a strong park all things considered and very very unlucky (2 votes?) you got stuck facing meccha and not us. I seriously think that if you had beaten us, and then taken dinoworld to the finals...things might be shaping up differently for you.

    Yeah... Don't really know what to say honestly... because it is so good! Great buildings, amazing path texturing, awesome duelling coasters... That arena is insane! Ferris wheel placement with the coasters and metro coming through... 

     

    Man I'm just drooling while viewing this park. Music fits so good. The parks edges are also insanely detailed. So much to see here and it's all amazing. Man this park could win H2H on its own! Hats off to the makers!

     

     

     

     

    Donkey Kong Country

    Oh this park is in the wrong match haha! Another Nintendo park, well a Nintendo figure park. Great landscaping. Love the Donkey face on the temple, that's great. Another big arena here as well, lovely.

     

    The Mine Cart coaster seems fun, I do think the station is underwhelming. Factor Frenzy is great! Love the pipes as supports, I do think the coaster would be a bit more readable if it were in another color than the support colors. 

     

    Overally lovely and fun park.

    Tough break for LHC on this one as they brought such a nice park.  Just Meccha really sets a new standard for the game.  Great effort on both teams.
