Super happy with this park getting completed in less than a month. Shout out to LowPoly who did the same if not more work on this park as Bluetiful and myself. I had fun trying some new stuff on this build.

I love the choice of scenario to base this on, don't think I've seen this one before. Landscaping has that classic scenario feel while using the newer tricks and the new land texture, and the ride design is fun, creative and has some great moments for the title screen. And that entrance complex I think will make a good opening shot in the new sequence.

Great use of the pieces that Gymnasiast added to the OpenRCT2 Official object set by Toon, they feel very natural and I'm glad the dev team has decided they belong in the game, specifically the couple of Toon glass roof pieces. Such a creative use of roof stacking to get the different wood colors. Fantastic layout and support work on the arrow, dear goodness me. Great landscaping, just really nice all around. Love it.

Some of my favorite areas are the entrance and the giant manor structure.
This park has moments of brilliance, so the pieces that rushed to the finish line to meet the deadline of the Title Screen Contest really stick out, which is unfortunate.
Much love to everybody that built on this, except that Hex guy. He sucks.

In seriousness I’m glad this won the title sequence contest. I love the castle section with the Intamin invert. The entrance especially feels nostalgic and reminiscent of the original Six Flags opening sequence from RCT2.

This park is quite impressive given the time constraints with which you were all faced. I think the entrance area is quite brilliant, as are the Intamin Prefab and giant looper layouts. I think this park could have benefitted from just a touch more detail on the foliage and path decorations, as portions of the map feel very empty. Furthermore, I also think the park lacked some stylistic cohesion in places, that may have been a result of having so many builders. However, there are many touches of brilliance throughout. One moment I really enjoyed was the diagonal water bridge for the river rapids. I also very much enjoyed the giant manor with the red inverted coaster, though I must say I would have preferred it without the coaster!

i found this quite tough to vote on. there are so many incredible little ideas and the macro map itself is also really well done, but at the same time i found myself wishing for a little more depth in the theme overall.
i spent a lot of time exploring the map and working out how you'd done things - i'm not a NCSO expert at all, and there was a lot that i'd never seen before. great ideas, executed in a new and interesting way (at least for me). it's amazing that you can take essentially the same game we've all been playing and advance it in ways no one has thought of before. appreciate all your work.

does this remind anyone else of Ozone?

Thought I voted 70% on this? Not the first time this has happened.. am I not hitting submit? Strange.
Anywho, great work team. I think there's some fun ideas here - probably a highlight for me was the Alpine themed buildings and the coaster layouts. The woodie and the Drachen Fire coaster are both wonderful.
I think the area that felt the weakest was the river rapids with the exposed monorail track. The monorail track siding seems a bit too chunky.

This is a really neat looking park. Excited to explore it in more detail and to also do a video review once I've finished the H2H reviews. Great work!

Well first of all, thanks everyone for taking the time to score and review Grand Glacier! Thought I’d post a write-up for anyone who’s interested.
As mentioned on the NE Discord a few times, this park was made in just over 3 weeks, so none of us were expecting a super high score. If I’m being frank, we were relieved to just finish a park this huge by the deadline. It was an actual rush to the literal last minute. That said, we took a few days after the contest to clean things up, both for NE and the actual title sequence.
Sordid was the mastermind who came up with the idea of doing Grand Glacier. Many of us were set on doing a scenario re-imagination, so this ticked all the boxes. Some of the majority shareholder positions are obvious: the park entrance and pre-park areas are almost entirely Swag, the macro surroundings (ie, the water shading, farm hills to the right) and the middle section of the park are mostly me with a mix of the_bru, and the right side is LowPoly Surf. Sordid made both the alpine lodge and castle with the launched Intamin invert, Valhellyeah.
94 did most of the layout for our Intamin pre-fab woodie (as well as all the intricate track layering), Ballpit did the Squilliam Spin in the opening plaza, and Hex did some layout advisement/tweaking here and there.
This was my first time teaming up with Swag, LowPoly, and Sordid. Working with someone as meticulous and experienced with new-age NCSO realism like Swag was incredible. We adopted many of his techniques throughout the park. “Swag-ifying” our buildings if you will. There’s a lot of inspiration from both the IRL alpine European architecture and the beautiful lodges from Fisch’s Riverland.
A big thanks to everyone who built on this park. We actually couldn’t have done it without you! And thank you to everyone on NE who took the time to explore Grand Glacier.
