Valley of the Kings has shot up to my favorite park of H2HX thusfar. Huge congrats to Dirt, Scoop, Hobeon, and of course the Goblin himself!

Beyond the absolutely astounding macro with its unique and fresh cutouts and gradients, the whole park had a fresh aesthetic and so many cool ideas that fully transported you to a new world. While the ride lineup was the weakest point for me, it made it up with elements such as the hidden cutaways, the moving sands throughout, the audiolog interactive elements, the giant skull sculptures, and the overall color palette and object usage that built a full vision of another world away from Earth. The brilliant usage of negative space was a huge win and made the park stand out amongst the typically dense parks we see in H2H. I wish we could have seen what the park could have been if you had more time to add the final level of polish and develop the world further; I imagine stronger scenes in the cutaways and a better consideration for the ride selection are the obvious areas to improve, but y’all should be immensely proud.

Wouldn't have been here gunning for big ideas if I didn't stumble upon Le Reve and Arcanis Mineralis seven years ago. I was scared too much negative space would be a detriment in a H2H setting so I'm at least happy we made it not only tasteful but meaningful once you press H.

    Castello

The composition of swirling gardens is beautiful as it segues into the unique world created through the townscape. The split map offers two sub-experiences to explore for a while, a bustling yet peaceful town and a bold castle swirled with a goliath roller coaster. All of the ride design is strong. The micro and custom objects are to die for, elevating the soulfulness of this world.

    Valley of The kings

After that three-day extension, the transformation of this elated my heart and I was so glad to see how it looked after the extra layer of finesse. It’s an instant classic, a great concept, strong bold motifs, a fun exploratory feature, brilliantly creative rides, and the perfect soundtrack to boot. This park is a complete package and I am very proud of the turnaround on it. The first two rounds aren’t easy but this deliverable is methodical and brilliant with gorgeous aesthetics. No hesitation.

    Castello

A park that def draws you in and builds up to a crescendo. Very similar to Troubadours in that way. The dance scene in the castle has to be my favorite part of the map, that feels like such a fun scene. The town itself is bursting of life. Not a fan of the extra sound effects, those really add just noise and are quite distracting sadly.

    Valley of the Kings

Archeological dig site in an extraterrestrial setting? Awesome idea. A very good example of brilliant storytelling with the cutaways and the different audio files. That feels new and refreshing, wonderully done! Not much else to add, the map sells itself. The skulls are great, there's a goodbalance between detailed areas and negative space, something that seems to be rarer and rarer in H2H parks.

I went Valley of Kings on this one since I really liked the landscape and the details in it.  Castello was great as well-- the village island definitely a highlight.
