Description
This is the park that I built for the DKMP Timeline Park Contest 2022 over the course of a year. It is a Theme Park themed to the Donkey Kong Country games on the Super Nintendo. I recommend listening to the soundtrack to one of these games in the background while looking at this park.

Lots of stuff here. Reminds me alot of Deurklink's Megapark in terms of this sort of megapark island idea. Lot of the rides are larger than life and have pretty cool layouts. Great showcase of some simple hacks as well. Hope to see less reliance on prebuilt structures/buildings/WWTT objects and more of a focus on small object detailing.
Lastly, great to see a flying turns.

Really enjoyed this though!

I'm not particularly familiar with DK games, but from the tastes of his worlds that I've seen (tasted?) in other Nintendo installments, it looks as if you captured the overall environment pretty well. Most of the map suffers from too much bare/unused space, but I believe there is enough technical proficiency here to constitute a borderline Bronze. The coasters are a bit too sprawly for the most part, but the flying turns and El Loco both show promise in ride design. King K. Rool and his castle are the high point of the map for me, and the factory warning stripes made from rapids track are lovely.
I echo otter's sentiment regarding WW/TT objects. Your parks will have a much cleaner look if you can learn to live without them. Some colorable DKSO versions of them are perfectly fine, but the default WW/TT pieces rarely blend with anything around them. I believe you'll have no trouble letting them go considering how capable you already are with track pieces and DKSO scenery.
