This was a hard decision. I put Morganfan in first place, just followed by the Dragonfruit coaster. You know I love alliteration, puns and food themes, so it was a close call.

inthemanual: credits for using the default palette and showing you can make a gorgeous looking entry without custom colours. This thing is also so inthemanual! High fantasy, but with a mundane twist. In 2014 you did tea, in 2023 you’re doing dragonfruit. Can’t say I’ve seen that theme before. I like the big fruit sculpture of course. The rest of the theming is also nice, but a bit incoherent as a whole, with a few unfinished rough edges.
Scoop: this is a pretty ballsy and out of the box thing for you, I like it. On the one hand there’s not much to see here, on the other hand, I can appreciate the crafty way you constructed the tower. You succeeded in making the whole thing look ‘electric’ too. Maybe you would’ve been better off building this as a spaceship rather than placing it on the ground?
Hex: did you run out of time? I see some beginnings of interiors. The subway station is promising. Concert looks good, building looks good, street looks good. Not sure what the concept is though! Why are there zombie photographers everywhere? Anyway, cool circle pit.
MorganFan: this was quite glitchy for me, but I really liked it stylistically. Quite different. One of the best coasters in the contest - perhaps the best! It’s long and experimental, and most importantly: good looking. The theming is a bit strange, but again, I like it. Especially the tower which I think qualifies as cubism. My favourite entry in this group.

This park was actually a love letter to you, and by ranking it second, I am forced to treat that as a bitter rejection. My heart is broken and my tears are shed.

InTheManual - Like your other micros I like how you got a really funky niche thing going on here. The coaster is adorable and the themed area reminds me a bit of like rookburg in Phantasialand the way it goes over and under the paths. The grid breaking in the structures is so nice and I like how everything interacts in a very unique and compositionally interesting way. Like the boxy maze against the rocks, arches and stuff. It’s a really well tied together entry.
Scoop - The structure is pretty epic. I like the overall color choices, the pinkish rocks bvounces off the blue and yellow nicely. The motifs you used for the support work is really strong and consistent. Makes me really excited for your solo honestly, feels like the kind of thing that would be in it and it’s, well, out of this world.
Hex - The architecture on the building is stellar. It is really clean but has plenty of great motifs. The approach to the vine work is also really nice, feels so mossy and thick. The extra dimension adding the concert scene is pretty brilliant, execution on the stage set and teh booths and that moshpit are all super nice. I love the approach to your interiors, feels like a post-apocolyptic horror game with all the floors with holes through them to navigate through visually. I notice that you also fleshed out a lot of the interiors with cutaway view. Wow! Just super impressive all around. A full size map like this would be super mint, excellent work.
Morgan Fan - Such a cool funky look. I like the approach to the architecture, feels so fresh and the colors are so nice and calm. The shapes with the cubes and cylinders clashing looks really cool with this super impressive flyer you managed to fit. The bridge entrance feels like a victory lap with the how you were able to balance this map out. I also really dig the landscaping approach, another very unique thing you are experimenting with on this map committing to the colorable jungle bushes, trackitecture, and tree pieces over the red 1k rocks that look kind of like mulch here. The more I look at it the more I really like this layout, definitely one of my favortes so far. Looks really intense but would be fun to ride and the unique lift/ drop is great.
