Not to be a bitch, but also, that turn over the water on the Schwarzkopf would injure riders - the drop into it is far too tight, even for a Schwarzkopf. That alone kills the realism of the entire park for me.

You know Anton loved to kill passengers of his coasters. ;)

(At least some parts can be very tight and I still remember I hardly heard the world around me after riding Nessie at Hansa Park. The final brake is the cruelest thing I have ever been on.)

Sey, sorry to hear you hate the park so much..
I suggest you to delete all of it, and all attached files from your harddisk..

^^^ That's not tight at all. It would be fine. Look at the way MindBender at SFOG's big diving helix. Or any of the lower stuff on things like Jetline or BMRX. Also, most of the traveling coasters have very tight lower helixes. That corner is fine, I'd say.
• Panic%s's Photo
Even looking at those coasters I'd still say it merits at least the big downward turn. The one on Mindbender doesn't have a radius of like three track WIDTHS, like the small RCT turn. And I remember the really, really tight 360* helixes being at the ends of layout, not before vertical loops. It also looks like balls.

So I decided me for the Minutemen. I've to say, that it was really hard, but I found more weak points on Eftelrama.
Hope you understand my opinion. :)

Ok, Yannik's comment really attracted my attention. I'll try to be as clear as posible, so i'll make a comparison between what you thought about Kidderbrook, and what you thought about Eftelrama.

I understand you based your vote on which park had more weak points, but..

...wouldn't this
- architecture wasn't that great
...sum up this?
- roof textures
- less details on some buildings
- colours looks very strange sometimes
Btw, I think that those 3 last weak points were 100% subjective, but anyway..
- theming seems to easy
I can't really get what you're trying to say here, i mean... is that a valid "flaw" to point out? Whether is easy or not to develop a theme? I think you should focus on the final product man.

Anyway, i'm not going to complain about the other 3 points, even i kinda disagree, but whatever, that's my personal opinion. I'm glad you liked some stuff in Eftelrama, i just don't see any sense in some part of your feedback. Nothing personal though

Oh and please admins, i definitely think Sey should take the award for best constructive criticism, hands down.

Yeah, I should most likely do that.

Seriously, why do you take offence? Do you want me to give you a better feedback why I don't like the park?
Hope it would satisfy your hint of sarcasm! :iamwithstupid:

Close...

Minute Men: Kidderbrook Amusement Park

Nice, nice atmosphere, good coasters (esp. Cascade), but a bit too simple and generic.

Alpha Legends: Eftelrama

De Efteling is my homepark, so I really liked the idea. The coasters were well thought out and I really like the spelling of the names.:p Especially ''Droomvanger'' was good. Awesome layout, awesom theme, good stats etc.

My vote goes to... Eftelrama (very close)

Btw sey, crude theme? how could you expect a diorama themed park to be sophisticated?

Yes, my vote is partly based on which park has more weak points.
Eftelrama has big weak points, which I've listed.
So the big points, like theming, supports, atmosphere and so on, are more important for me.
And Kidderbrook was better, so I voted so.

The last three weak points (roof-texture, colour & less details) are completely based on my opinion.
I think so, and so I listed these points...

With theming was to easy...it's a summary of less details & not such a great architecture.
I just noticed, that I could leave that point out...sorry.

How I already said, it's my opinion and if you dont agree with it, not my problem.

^(^)yeah, let's abolish public votes of the community and make the decision which park is better using a check list... who cares one's opinion?!

You actually said atmosphere was a weak point in Kidderbrook, but whatever, you already voted. Anyway, I wasn't angry because of your vote, just because of its basis. I hope you get my point. That, this argument should be over.

I know that atmosphere is a weak point in Kidderbrook...
But look at the weak-points I listed of Eftelrama.

Like I said on Eftelrama the points I found very important were negative.

Sorry for my bad english btw^^

Still, what do you expect from me? Look at the buildings left side from the overview, the white buildings with their pink topping and some random windows are just ridiculous in my eyes.
There's nothing, not even a small detail which makes those buildings realistic and they were well represented in KAP (e. g. the washbasins).

Please accept my opinion of Eftelrama and read the bold words carefully.

^I get what you mean, but Diorama is a theme which doesn't really requires very detailed buildings, i mean it's not an obligatory thing. That's why i said you couldn't expect sophisticated and detailed buildings, even there were some.

I absolutely love the fact that so far, we've had three fantastic match ups. It really makes visiting the site interesting, and pulls me back. This vote is close, I hope more people get involved soon. :D
• geewhzz%s's Photo
I still haven't voted yet. I'm pretty undecided. It's nice to have much involvement in the threads. More replies compared to last season. Although H2H sorta fizzled out towards the end of H2H4..

Could be interesting in the case of a tie. The polls will automatically stay open past the 120 hour deadline until a winning vote is received. Could make for some tense moments.

Kidderbrook.

Nice park, good details and i like the woodie. However the other coaster was nowhere near good. I hate its lay-out and especially the 2nd lift hill. The log flume seemd to be made only for it's station, which looks good, but that's it. The pier is great! I also think that the corner with the white coaster and the log flume is too empty.

Eftelrama.

I liked the overview, but ingame it was a little dissapointing. The peeps are a big +, but i didnt liked the empty spots on the hills, which were just filled with trees. the mills look good and I like "hobbelpaard" the B&M wasnt that good in my opinion.

It was a close one, but i went with eftelrama, just because of the atmosphere. everything was working and the peeps and custom music finish it.
