I know the best is saved for last, so looking forward to the final match-up for round 1!

Everything finished was amazing and done perfectly. I loved how clean all the buildings, supports, and foliage were. I've never seen that theme done so well.
So good job to whoever worked on it and too bad about not finishing it, you were on to something really good.
I'll write more about Land of Wonders when I look into it more in depth, I'm pretty sure that's where my votes going though.

anyways if i could get my codes to work i would vote for the flying germans park.
it was very very nice and would be 10x better if finshed but its still nice none the less, and as comet said everything was pulled off perfectly.
i didn't really like whzz kid's entry. i felt like some buildings were just rushed, and were missing some details that other buildings had. some of the coasters were a little weird too.
edit:nvm i fixed my codes

this was one hell of a park. i am usually not a fan of this type of realism, but the architecture was well-done and there were so many little things to look at. it was a very polished park, with some pretty fun rides and very good foliage/landscaping. there wasn't too much wrong with it, to be honest.
Vampyre:
i'm usually a strong critic of unfinished parks in contests. last H2H i quit voting because i got so frustrated with the unfinishedness of everything. however, i have also had a hard-drive failure before, and i understand how much of a bitch it is. because of that, i did not penalize the Flying Germans for the park being unfinished.
the park is stunningly good, despite not being done. the architecture is absolutely perfect, and it really adds to the atmosphere. thats the strongest point of this park. the atmosphere. it oozes atmosphere. as i said in the topic "how do you?" atmosphere is my #1 priority in a park. this park delivers. i felt like i was there, the theme was done so well. because of this, as well as the fact that its pretty obvious the Flying Germans won't win anyway (that's very unfortunate that the park had to be sent in unfinished, as this would be a very good match-up otherwise), is why i voted for this park over Land of Wonders.

The parks name sucked ass (funny ours did too, well the pot is calling the kettle black...), but other then that it was pretty nice, nothing amazing, but a good peep friendly park. I liked the yellow coaster best, the other two were okay. 7/10
Flying Germans im sorry to hear what to your park, but I just cant bring myself to vote for an unfinished park like this despide your reasons or potential which you had. If it was finished and had a couple more rides you might have made this close. 5.5/10

That's pretty much where I'm at. All the coasters in Land of Wonders were cop-outs in some way or another and other than being well constructed and 'pretty' it didn't have anything else going for it. The first half of the yellow one's layout was unholy awesome, but once it touched the MCBR the party was OVER. Thor was good other than the half-assed top hat... How hard is it to do a couple track merges guys? You did it for the loop didn't you!? I might understand if it was the really short variation on the top hat, but it was not... The woody just wondered about aimlessly... With some good air at least, but it didn't feel like much thought went towards the layout... Rockets was probably my favorite just because the block sections were timed perfectly and the queue was sweet.
Vampyre, while far from having the perfect coaster also had an ominous atmosphere that would've been amazingly impressive had it been completed. Oh well...
I voted for the one I believe will lose because they don't deserve the vote margin they're going to get...

EDIT: my apologies on the top hat misunderstanding. Thor is quite a good coaster... *shrugs*

Edit: I'm assuming, at least.

Guys, don't believe everything you read. The readme does not tell the entire story. This park was never 'finished'. So no, they don't get any sympathy from me and are lucky they're going to get any votes out of this.

Land of Wonders
Pros-pretty obvious who had a part in this imo and it's about what I'd expect. A very fun park to look around. There are plenty of rides to take in which is great although I didn't much care for the woodie, it felt a little smashed. I think some of that bare corner, which actually added some nice contrast to the busy center, would have been better used for a cleaner layout. Thor was easily the best coaster and the looper (name escapes me) was nice. It's tough for me to really get into compact coasters but the surroundings worked hard enough to make them fun to watch, as well as the interaction. There was plenty of eye candy as well, the go-kart station, the path covers and the tan wall on the waterfront were all awesome details. The flats and mini coasters were integrated well into the architecture. Seeing things like the bumper cars in that building and the BBQ in the picnic area put a smile on my face.
Cons- with all the rides it got a little chaotic looking through this at times. The bare corner and the water kind of stuck out. As I said before, they added a small amount of harmony to the park but also left some balance in the layout to be desired. It was also almost too sterile in a way, it's hard to explain but the peeps really saved this park atmosphere wise... which is what the style is imo... peepable semi realism.
Vampyre
Pros- Well if this would have been finished it probably would have got my vote but as is it is little more than a mini full of potential. The coaster was pretty cool and I loved all the tunnels through holes in the walls and open gates. It's kind of a polar opposite to the Kid's park as instead of several small layouts there is one dominating coaster. I appreciated the attention to a particular theme and that would have been a major selling point vs Lands of Wonder. The architecture there was great, particularly the attention to the outer walls and gates and little extras like the outer paths.
Cons- unfinishedness obviously, and I'm not sure if it was supposed to be peepable or not.... if not it would have been a tougher choice had this been finished
pretty obvious which team got my vote. Shame about the lack of a finished park HD crash or not...

I think, in a few months, we're going to see Vampyre win an NE design.

The park was supposed to get finished the day before the deadline by [insert player name]. Due to technical problems (hard disk failiure) he had no chance to work on the park and apart from a short message had no chance to communicate with the team.
The park could have been finished in a day certainly as most of it is finishing the castle (which was completely planned out) add in foliage and shops. (The park was supposed to be peepable.)
We are very sorry for the unfinishedness of the park as that is not what it was supposed to be. Thanks to the team of gee we were allowed to send it the unfinished version of the park (on which no work was done after the day before the deadline) late. Thanks again for that.
Also major thanks to the second player working on the park. Some really good work from you and you adapted very well to the style of your partner.

however, almost like anyone else, had vampyre been finished, i could have see myself vote for it. land of wonders was busy and kinda fun, but i also found it was confusing and disordered. i didn't really care for any of the rides, but some of the park design itself (mainly entrance area) had something going for it. overall it just did more than vampyre. so i voted whzz kids.
Magnus Offline
But that is not what we want to discuss here I think.
If our park was finished I could see it winning, but am not sure about it, because of the realism trend we are seeing at NE at the moment. I think the Whzz Kids Park goes exactly for that trend, but the park did not do much for me. The theming is too sterile and all in all it was too confusing to look at for me.
But since I cannot vote, which is good, because I really do not want to tell my team to vote for an unfinished park, my opinion does not matter anyways.
