Description
Long have the knights of the sea and sky lived in peace. The knights of the sea and their island fortress have provided refuge to the knights of the sky and their dragons for many years, each working together to utilize each others strengths and to provide protection for the villagers. Until now...
A threat from deep down in the darkest depths of the ocean has arrived. A massive sea serpent has attacked the castle and looks to bring down the knights once and for all. Will the knights survive??
Notes:
This is the winner of the DKMP Scenario Contest for August 2020. The task was to reimagine a scenario from RCT1 or 2 without modifying anything outside the original park boundaries. We turned Good Knight Park's original dueling reverser into a dueling RMC.
-We tried to honor the original layout of the coasters, including the lift hill placement and central racing section.
-Much of the original shape of the castle is still present. The two towers at the top of the original castle have been elevated to the top of a new larger tower in the same location.

Talk about an impressive scenario reimagining. This is seriously good stuff.
Well the dragons are of course the main focal point here and knowing your previous work it isn't a surprise these are well done too; Simply fantastic sculptures, and that for NCSO.
I can imagine this must be frustrating to release not that far from the release of the RMC track. The racers are still well done of course, and look great. Love that you kept the original layour mostly intact.
What I like less in this park is how cluttered it is. Everything is pretty close together and there isn't that much room to breath whivh IMO hurts the park. On the other hand, the fact that quite a lot of the stuff is hidden from view by either the castle or the walls entices the viewer to look around more.
Great entry! Always a fan of these scenario reimaginings.

Very odd park. Extremely gimmicky, not just in the dragon sculptures, also in smaller stuff like rapids under the boats, etc. Compositionally mostly a mess, I'm sorry to say. Especially the coaster, and I think 1k ruins object spam like that is never nice to look at.
There were some stylistic highlights though near the topspin and that little "village" part. I loved things the forked paths going up, and I wish more intentional composition like that will prevail in your future projects.

does anyone else have problems with the trains not moving? I've tried reopening and stuff. when I restart the ride the cars are no longer hacked so I can't really experience it

Just gave this a final vote, so a review is warranted!
Very cool stuff. I don't think I'll ever come to love the "giant sculpture in park" design philosophy- it always feels a bit kitschy/toy-ish/minecrafty and takes me out of a mature theme. That said, the dragons are extremely impressive! I can't and won't ever trackitecture like that...
the castle itself is awesome. Love how dense it is-- really draws me into the narrative. the coaster is almost unfollowably convoluted and spaghetti'ed but I still love it. a warm and cozy jumble. great work.
