Argentina Adventures
The mini-park (60x60) was an entry for a competition at RCT2.com of which it came as a runner-up against some great competition from Phatage and SixFrags. The objective was to build a park in the 'North American' theme, being from Europe it was quite a challenge and i spent around half of the alotted time (a month) to do research on the park and plan the areas...
The actual construction of the mini-park itself only took 10days, i finished it early- around three days before the deadline. Here is a little run through of the park:
Basically, Isles Of Liberty is based around the different cultures of USA, mainly, it shows a highly populated community with huge skyscrapers and roads... And the other a much more laid back civilisation.
There are six areas in a small space, Texas, NY, New Mexico, Florida, Alaska and Washington DC. They may not be clear from looking at the map, or even when you look at the park. I wanted to mangle all of the different cultures in to one mini-park and cramp everything i possibly could inside it! From that perspective, i suppose it is okay..
I myself think the park is a little hit-or-miss, i still am not sure if i like or dislike it yet! Anyway, i really hope you enjoy my interpretation of USA!
(Don't blame me if things in the park are a little stereotypical, i got most of my information by watching The Simpsons)!
