Description
Was built for a contest on the RC&F discord called Defunct. We had to keep expanding and adding to a park based on the rules of each round. I lost in the final round. I tried to stick to a realistic approach and people didn't really feel it matched the theme of 'Natural'. For me, it was a way to dust off some cobwebs and finally use my Cedar Point entrance. I am in love with the Morgan layout, and a lot of the stuff in here I am proud of, it probably doesn't all come together very well as a real park though. (Apologies for the lack of black tiling too.)
Cedar Fair's Celebration Plaza - 13/08/2018 - Task was to build an entrance. Was based off an old entrance I had lying around and was dying to use, I knew what I wanted to do with it going forward and was lucky that the next round allowed me to utilise it. I built it in 5 days.
Cedar Fair's Old County - 28/08/2018 - Task was to build a signature rollercoaster & and family rollercoaster of certain lengths and certain types. I went with a Morgan and Steeplchase coaster. I built this in 6 days.
Cedar Fair's Adventure Zone - 03/09/2018 - Task was to build a dark ride, so I built a giant top spin combined with an interactive shooter ride. I was going to California for the majority of the time period so I had 1 day to build this.
Cedar Fair' Evergreen Gardens - 15/09/2018 - Task was to finish the park by adding an additional 2 rides. I finished up the Racer and added a LIM bowl. I can't remember how long it took me to build, but I'm guessing it was only a few days again. This is the final entry in the series and got me 2nd place in the contest. - No fans of this park

I really like this, obviously. Especially the entrance coaster, quite a cool little take on the Gatekeeper concept. Lots of Kings Island/Kings Dominion elements in here too that work great. Nice stuff Louis.

The Morgan was really cool.. and its so rare to see a Steeplechase coaster, so that was a plus as well. I remember following your progress with that round of Defunct.. so the first few saves I've seen before! Would be interesting to see the midway expanded upon and the entire park completed, but I understand you have probably more inspiration for other projects. Definitely got the Cedar Fair vibes.

I remember seeing this when it came out, it was nice seeing some proper RCT2 Louis. The steeplechase is great.

Great stuff. Really enjoyed the soapbox ride, typical Louis stuff. Coaster layout also have been fantastic, as we know from you. The entrance definitely is my favorite piece of architecture on the map. Otherwise it was a bit generic.
The tomb raider ride was a cool thing but felt a bit out of place. I also think that, probably due to the concept format, the general composition is a bit off. The cutting of the map hurt a lot and the woodie entrance being such a dead end also wasn't a thing that i'm a fan of.
All in all solid release and i'm glad it's also in this database now. I hope to see a full planned out park by you in the future.

Really cool. Leaves me wishing for a full and fleshed out park though.

Really interesting take on Cedar Point and some other clear references. The Tomb Raiders darkride was awesome and I also dig the old duelling woodies a lot! I hope you make this a full park

Thought this was awesome! Although I do wish it was larger. Some great interactions with the rides and paths though! Favorite was the Morgan and the racers. Very unique and perfectly executed. Tomb Raider ride was a strange choice and not as easy to read at first glance, but it's understandable given the contest requirements.
Glad to have you around again! Looking forward to seeing what you do next.

Elephant in the room - This feels a little incomplete and I wish you turned it into a full park.
Okay, that's out of the way. What's here is quite nice. Typical Louis style definitely isn't a bad thing. I think by far my favorite part is the harvest area in the center of the park. It's just a nice charming area.
I think I actually remember back a few years ago when you were toying with this entrance concept. It's such a great setpiece, I hope we see more stuff like it someday. I love all the little sign details; clearly Cedar Point inspired! You've also managed to include some nice foliage details like fallen leaves. Though it's a little sparse in general across the board - that might come across better in a full park but I'm not sure here.

hah, this is so weird but there's a lot to love also. Each ride is pretty great but the park as a whole is very confusing! in a cool way.
the entrance is pretty great, and I like the drachen-esque filler. the steeplechase is maybe my favorite bit- such good landscaping and interactions here. really high quality. the tomb raider stuff is also great work but fits into the park so strangely. not necessarily bad, I like it, but definitely weird.

This was pretty cool to see progress through each save. Really excellent entrance and pathwork, and the green space is so lovely. The layouts are exceptional, as is tradition, with the Chance Morgan being a standout for me. I loved how the solo wooden coaster turned into a racing coaster between the two rounds. The Tomb Raider ride is pretty great as well - hard to read some of the interiors but the queue and top spin are excellent. Would love to see you extend this into a full park of course, though it's hard to see how you would get a decent park layout out of this.

Here's a video review of the park. Really enjoyed this. Lots of cool detail and it's very fun to see a park expand like this over time.
