I agree that this is getting kind of boring especially because neither of these parks are very memorable, no offense to the parkmakers. It kind of reminds me of Finals Game 2 last season when we were tied at 47 and I just kind of wanted it to go one way or the other to get those two mediocre parks out of the spotlight so we'd stop biting our nails over them. These parks aren't as bad as TDATL or PC but still. I imagine this is going to be one of those matches that's remembered for the outcome, as a somewhat pivotal matchup, rather than for the parks that caused that outcome.
I guess when neither park is that great it comes down to what small features of the park strike a chord with each person, rather than overall quality, which means it might be closer to call (cos one person might like log flumes, another person might not like short brake runs or whatever).
I went with the Tiger's park because I felt the Demigod's was a little boring, with not much to do there, and looking a little barren in general. It seems like a park I'd get bored at very quickly. Maybe that's because I live in San Diego and I'm kind of used to it. If I recall there was only a coaster (albeit one I'd reride a few times), drop tower, enterprise, carousel, and boat ride (and it was a Mack, so it's alright). Aside from that, it just felt like a lot of empty spaces and rest areas. It did remind me a little of my experiences in Mexico, but that's not necessarily a good thing, as I don't find Mexico to be particularly interesting either. I suppose the park was realistic though (not that I ever care, unless if it's realistic to the max!). And one of the new objects looks rather handy. And I actually liked the rock formations. Still, if I was to follow the crowd and give it a rating it'd get a 6.8. And lay off the propaganda next time. You know who you are .
The Tigers park wasn't amazing either, but I noticed spots I liked, the colors were nice, and the theme was very obvious to me (maybe it's because I recognized the name?). I felt the archy fit, and while I preferred the Demigod's coaster, I still enjoyed this one. And I agree with Artist that I thought Typhoon looked nice. And I liked the little display in the queue for Eruption. My rating would be 7.1. Still not a whole lot there, and the statues made me sad, but I liked the atmosphere.
Like I said, my vote went to the Tigers. The parks were similar in quality, but the drabness in the Demigod's park turned me off more than enough to make the vote easy for me. Plus, tropical island theme > Spanish island theme.
i agree with the comments about how generic both of them were. i didn't care to check through all 3 pages to see what sorts of responses these got, but it's evident to me that they were both extremely safe, and thus forgettable and perhaps objectionable. it's not the fault of the builders though. i just wish that there was more faith in creativity being exceptional. it's a fucking waste of time otherwise.
i voted for whichever park had the yellow coaster in it.
Funny how the vote is so close when there are twice as many pro-tigers posts as there are pro-demigods posts. Maybe that means the Demigods' park really is better, since it doesn't need the publicity? Who knows. Half of me wishes I could see these up close and personal so I could understand the closeness of the match-up, but the other half of me gets the feeling it wouldn't really be worth it...
Boosters should never ever be used unless its a launch coaster therefore Tiger's coaster > Demigod's coaster. please stop saying that the Demigod's coaster was good. you have serious pacing issues or you are trying to force an element in if you need boosters.
IMO we should just call this thing. Not right now (although I don't care who wins), but like if it goes back to a tie for a number of hours, then definitely. There haven't been that many votes cast considering that this is a semi-important match and all-RCT2. The only reason I'm not shocked at how low the voting turnout has been is because the situation was the same last week, which kind of adds to the sense of general apathy that I'm getting. Yes it's admittedly only been two days, but I don't know how many people want to wait three more days on these parks - judging by this thread, probably not too many. I have a feeling that if this goes on much longer it's just going to continue to drain people's enthusiasm for this season. Maybe that's just my own apathy speaking though. It probably is.

I never noticed the boosters. Besides, I liked the whole of the layout a lot better. W/e, my vote still wouldn't change.

Wrong! These parks are both SUPERIOR to TDATL however they're both INFERIOR to the Pyramid Connection. Right Kumba?
