Overall, I thought it looked nice. The mexican/pueblo area wasn't as nice as I'd hoped it to be, but it was still pretty good to look at. The color scheme was good and matched the theme and the coaster was cool. The buildings weren't bad, but they were, in my opinion, the worst element of the area. Turtle's are was the best area, in my opinion. The coaster had an awsome design, and it was really cool following it around. The architecture was solid and the color scheme was nice to look at, as well. The landscaping rocked in this area along with a nice selection of foliage. Good job, Turtle.
I really didn't like the park, but that's mostly a testament to it's age.
Had it been released a year or so ago, this park would have been much more popular, but that seems to have been your biggest problem as a group, obviously. You could say the same thing about SDI now, I realize.
That woodie, whether it was built by Posix or OZONE, was pretty impressive, other than that strange descending helix right before the big turnaround helix. I thought almost all the architecture in the park was really messy and bland, but again, I realize most of this was built a long time ago.
And sorry Turtle, wasn't really feeling your area either. The coaster especially seemed very messy. I didn't like the fact that the first drop went right over the path, with no real supports or anything; that was just too unrealistic and awkward I thought. Also, I hate cobra rolls that don't have one half loop go outward, and the second one going back inward. I think you know what I'm talking about. I did, however, really like the use of red flowers, cheers on that.
Overall, the park's biggest flaw is it's age, becuase I can remember being really excited about this months ago, but now that I look at it, not so much.
slob, i remember your comments when we first showed a screen of my area. I think it's just the fact that I have no knowledge of real life coasters lol. Also, the reason a lot of the architecture is bland is because of the fact that there wasn't much custom scenery available when this park was started... it makes it harder.
Thankyou for taking the time to look it over, and leave your comments. Thankyou also, MightyMouse.
I urge people to take the time and look at this park, and leave us guys some comments. It won't take long, you'll have all the scenery already, i'm sure. You bitch about the lack of releases from RCTU, and when one does come along, it gets 2 replies.
I can't open the north map. Invalid archive, or some crap like that.
I didn't really care for the south map, although I understand it is quite outdated. Still, I remember seeing screens of this a while back and not being very keen on it. I just don't like the style of architecture; seems dry, uninteresting, simple. I also thought there was a great excess of water, it really served no purpose. I did, however, like the hotel. The woodie was kind of cool also.
Wish I could see the north map.

New World Adventures
South Map
Warning: Very Old
Hey...this is like over a year old now...but here is the South Map of RCTU's first RCT2 project.
The whole project was originally intended to have "New World" areas from North America and South America.
The North Map will be released unfinished, and has work by myself (Boston Harbor), Voodoo (Frenchman's Landing), and Thorpedo (Jamestown Plantation).
The South Map is right here...
Entrance--thorpedo
Mexican Pueblo--Scarface, with help from Gymkid, Marshy, and a Woodie by OZONE.
The Caribbean--Dave and Marshy
The Aztecy Area--Turtle
Resort--Alex00087
D/L--New World Adventures South Map
New World Adventures
North Map: Unfinished
Unforunately, the North Map couldn't be finished due to lack of interest.
Entrance--fable/Adonis/Voodoo
Boston Harbour--gymkid
Frenchman's Landing--fable/Adonis/Voodoo
Iroquis's Area--gymkid and fable/Adonis/Voodoo
Old Williamsburg--thorpedo
There's actually quite a bit done on the map and it's definetely worth the download.
D/L:New World Adventures North Map--Unfinished
Thanks for downloading, and all of us at RCTU (well, RCTF now) thank you and hope you enjoy them.

2. I did 3/4 of the mexican area...as you can see it is extremely old with hardly any new scenery.

I'm pretty proud of what i built, even though it is very old...
I think the coaster is one of the best i've ever built.
