    My internet died when I was replying to this but now I'm back- sadly I have the version of RCT1 with the add ins included so the variations needed for the NE stuff won't work on mine- does anyone have safe (some are now reported by antivirus packages as unsafe) versions of the files needed to adapt rct? What I may try to do is find a non-all-in-one rct and set it up on my old pc for NE, keeping the one that won't work with NE on my new pc (the one with the add ons included.) There are such seriously awesome parks on here it's annoying missing out on them! Hoping I have an old disc for rct1 without the expansions included on the same disc (you need the version that has the expansions separate according to the NE setup requirements info) but I might not. Will have to see what I can do....

    Deluxe is the only way you can find RCT1 for sale anymore. A special version of the Drexler patch is needed. There is a thread on this on the /r/RCT wiki and I have re-hosted the downloads here, but have not tried them myself.

    Does the Gog patch even work still?  I was told that the Gog version changed about a year or two ago and no longer works with that patch.

    No, it doesn't. However, people who still have the old version (*wink*) can hand it to you and the special patch will work fine, as long as you follow the steps correctly.
