Description
This is my first proper park I upload to NE, and my first finished CSO park.
This park was built in about 1-2 weeks time, I expected it to take longer, but the small size and the fact I did nothing else on my pc than build this made it go by in a flash.
I'm very proud of this park and myself, for the first time in years I was inspired and motivated to finish a park. I deffinatley feel like my skills have improved during this project, and I realised I could do so much more with CSO than NCSO.
Plaja Delfinilor is a beach by the Romanian Black Sea, it is a popular spot for tourists due to it's beautiful beaches and luxury hotels. But the real gem is Luna Parc, a small amusement park by the beach, it's more comparable to a fair than an amusement park though. - 1 fan Fans of this park

Not sure who gave this a 20% score, seems very low to me. Might be time for some vote auditing again.
In any case, I love this. The bright colors and flashing lights paired with the cheesy carnival rides and run down areas really sell the boardwalk feel. The little scenes you included were great, like the hoodlums hanging out on the beach or the birds taking over the closed off area. The archy was pretty fitting for the theme, although your scale wasn't very consistent, some buildings have 4-unit stories, others are a bit bigger. I wish you had done a bit of the hotel interior, since it was on the map edge and you had some space there. In any case, a nice first attempt at CSO.
EDIT: Forgot to put my score, I gave this a 50%. Definitely bronze-worthy imo.

What a depressing shithole. Great job!

At first I thought you were either being completely sarcastic or just acting like a dick. But I have got to agree with you about this.
It's not bad, Thibo, but it looks all extremely sad. Don't know if you intended it this way, but if you did, spot on. I don't think I've got to explain why.
The map was alright but not really jawdropping in any way. I did like the small details everywhere. Utilize that more often in future parks. Good to see you're willing to improve.

I thought this was fairly charming if a little rusty around the edges. The fairground part was lively and colourful and there were some nice small details dotted around. I wasn't a big fan of the beach areas on the outside though and think you could have done more with that, and I think the waterline should have been lowered one unit too. Nice work otherwise.

decent little thing. I think I liked the wacky worm the most, you dont see much of them. some of the interiors were nicely detailed too. I liked a lot of the temporary stalls, but felt that the more permanent buildings felt a bit squat and barren. those midway games are good though

Honestly I think this is bronze-worthy. You nailed the carnival atmosphere and it's a ton of fun. Your bold use of color and lighting is a breath of fresh air.

This is right on the edge of an accolade in my opinion. You definitely succeeded at your goal when you set out to build this park.
This is probably going to echo Xtreme's comment. The carnival/fairground is very well done. The surroundings felt a bit more like an afterthought; a bit more done with the beach and supporting structures would have made this a solid Bronze. I think you'll net an accolade with this; you're improving rapidly.

Faas it right. You captured the atmosphere of a crappy Southern European touristy spot very well. It was quite well made, lively, and with good eye for detail. You didn't forget the sea either with the boats. It's a very small, but very complete little park. It would've been nice if you submitted this for an accolade, you had a real shot at bronze here. But that's not important. What's important is that you're actually getting good. Looking forward to seeing you grow more.
