RCT2.com Road Rally Finals 2005 winner.

    Objectives:

    - Use the provided workbench (40x40) with the provided scenery;
    - build a Log Flume
    - build a Flying Coaster
    - Theme all to Russia

The park is based on existing buildings in the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square. (extensive Readme comes with te download, including pics of the existing buildings)
    It's a peepfriendly park.

And yes,I know, silly all those reverser things on the Log Flume
Was the first time I built a Log Flume and I thought them cute to fix up a boring part.

I didn't really agree with how you placed your coaster. It seemed to be a somewhat weird layout. But the rest of the park was simply awesome.

The architecture in this park was amazing, so colourful, detailed and original. It was like you had actually studied the theme in extreme depth before you started building. The coaster was a bit of a let down, and looked a little 'forced', which i know the competition rules, you had to have a flying coaster, but it did not fit in with the beautiful scenery at all.

Great job and congrats on the win!

dang the architecture was amazing! i agree the coaster looked out of place, but its probably pretty tough to build a coaster through that kind of scenery.

The 3rd screen is wonderful. But is seems in most/all of your parks (Your VP, this, etc.), the architecture is just big, massive structures. And, it does get very repeatitive and sort of takes away most of the quality in parks. For example, if you use it maybe, once, or twice, like a good example would be rwadam's hotels, then it would be a huge addition to the park. But, when you have most/all of your buildings are huge and monotonous, then it gets very boring. Your coasters also follow a consistent pattern, where they just seem to circle the structures you've built. They just seem sort of wierd... and out of place. Your foilage could also use a little work too.

I know... lol .... I've been working on that. I'm not showing any more projects of mine until I get rid of the repeatitive look.

Thanks very much for all your replies!

I like it that many of you appreciate the architecture, of which I know it is not very much "Ne-Style" ;) So extra thanks for the compliments/appreciation.

I fully agree with the comments on the flying coaster: I am not a great coaster-builder anyway (working on that!) and certainly not if the type is predescribed and not free to choose, like here and then also on such a small map, where I want to use my little space for the buildings :D

Yes, x250, if I build archy from an existing area (nearly always do that, for that is what I like so much), I actually do some "in-depth" research, to get the feeling and building styles as much as possible.

FYI: to my own surprise I am now building on a quite different park (far larger), with much smaller (fantasy-) buildings and just 1 or 2 things based on "existing" buildings.
    Will be released in February/March.

Thanks again, for your replies, and if there are more, please give them!
