Themed in the ancient egyption city of Luxor, Obelisk is an out-of-control experience, providing tons of intense turns and twists, as the coaster winds itself around various marshes and egyption ruins.
Anyway, I made this wooden coaster not too long ago, and it was sent in for a design, but was turned down. The theaming is not by best, but I'm really proud of the coaster, which probably took the longest time of all to build. Below are a couple screens of it.
i think it's not bad, actually. you've improved. it's good to see that someone is having fun with ll. i believe you have understood what matters about ll and you know you want to go for it. you also seem to have the motivation to continue parkmaking for a long time and you manage to finish your projects which makes you interesting for me. there are a few things i don't like, and overall, the whole thing isn't too strikingly good, but your theming banners are fixed, the theming rides are named properly and the count of empty buildings has decreased. i really liked that. you still have a peep jam and the park name saying "nova park" though. i feel you must lose unsureness when building because it shows a little. in some places you just built freely and it turned out nicely. the coaster, i didn't really care much for. it was too unrealistic for my taste. i also thought that most of the hacks you used were out of place and more red flowers wouldn't have hurt. anyway, keep in mind that the more parks you do, the better you'll become. looking forward to seeing new work from you.
Thanks, posix, I'm always glad to hear your comments, especially since most people nowadays won't give a shit about
an LL release.
I'm glad your starting to enjoy my work more, I have definitley started to like building more, especially when you throw all other "standards" out the door and build how you want. Since you like this, you'll probably enjoy my new solo, which I plan to show some small previews of soon. (I planned to show some screens at the RCT Fiesta, but unfortunatley that seems to have died of intrest.)
