Sorry CP6, but I think MA's was way better, not only in the coaster, but all around, it was just much more exiting to look at. Don't get me wrong; it was great in terms of atmosphere, and the coaster wasn't too bad, but I loved the idea that MA had much more.
Well, I've looked at MA's ingame, and I'm really surprised to see the score go 4-0. Looking from as unbiased a point as I can, I still like mine a little better, but it's incredibly close. I know mine doesn't fit exactly with true Mayan architecture in a lot of ways, but I built it off of several experiences in Mexico visiting the stuff. As for the coaster-- there's some things I wish I would've changed, but I guess I'm as happy as I can be with something hugely unrealistic. Anyway, I'm glad for the win, but still surprised at how this match turned out...
i too, didnt think Ceder Point's looked to good, but when i poened it up i realized why it got the win. while the archy was slightly lacking, and the detials were alittle crammed, the coaster was awesome. this coaster was perfect in my opinion, in a balance of hack, and just a regular coaster feeling. the hacks were nice, but the coaster was smooth and not boring. i didnt like the choice of coaster car, but thats just being picky. the pyramids did look like you worked hard on the coaster and put them in quickly at the end, but it defintly paid off. great entry!
i dont have LL installed so im sorry to say i couldnt view it, but it looked great from the pic, and im not a super fan of LL so congrats. i think i still would have gone with CP6 but i dont think this was as much a land slide as it looks! congrats both!
Well, if you really wanted it to be fair, you'd weigh the votes. Have each judge give a score to each park and tally THOSE results. If you had that, you'd have a closer score that was more representative of the quality of both parks.
So basically, it was 4-0, but a close 4-0 probably.
That way a particular judge could choose to be more important in matchups than others. If you weigh your choice 50-50, that wouldn't be voting at all. So i think this is definitely a better way to go. They both look great, don't have rct here atm so i'll be looking at them later.
For what's worth it, I would've voted MA, so that would've made it 4-1..
I thought both entries were great, with MA having more quantity that in the end won it for me... CP6's coaster was nice and unique too, but too much of the same imho.. All the time it's going up, hacked, switches track, backwards, hacked, switches track etc..
I thought MA's architecture was better and more elaborate than CP6's (which is a nice thing to see in a LL vs. RCT2 match-up) and all together kept my attention longer than CP6's did..
From the overviews Cedarpoint6's park looked good but once i opened it, it was awesome. Really nice theme and a very innovative ride you have there. I especially like the vertical lift hack. That would of been so good from a guest's perspective. The theming was also inpecible.
MAs was also a very nice entry. i'm sorry that i didn't have the priveledge to open it but thats some seriously nice work you have there.
Wow, I cant believe this was a sweep, cause thats about the best LL representation of the Robin Hood idea I've ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I still think CP6 should have won, cause that coaster hack was insanely cool (although I did get an error trapper after the coaster completed 1 circuit ... now I'm getting "off track" ) but I think it should have been closer.

Well, having looked at your park CP6, I really like the coaster. Very creative use of the chain lift launch. The theming didn't do a thing for me, though, but I'm impressed you fit that much coaster into the map.
As for my entry, I knew the coaster was going to fuck me. But I felt like doing a nice simple theme without insane hacks, and... shit. Really, you have to look at this thing in game. I put just about every scenery hack I knew into the game, and even came up with a few I haven't seen before. The side of the map you can't see is actually some of my favourite stuff.
I also accomplished my goal: Don't use ghost trains as windows. Suck it, traditional LLers.
CP6: Great ride! I loved every single bit of it. It used the space perfectly and was well themed. The only thing that bothered me was the Error Trapper after 1 ride. But that didn't worsed the ride. One of my favourites so far - looking forward to more!
Midnight_Aurora: Peeps! It looks really nice from the overview. As you may noticed I'm no LL expert, but I can say that it must have been a hell of work to stack all these objects. Congrats to this nice entry!
Probably the hardest match-up to pick a favorite out of. I don't know, i wish MA did a little more with the coaster, i thought it was lacking a bit. The scenery was beautiful though, the hacks fitting. Great, great entry. CP6s was lovely as well. Nice atmosphere, the theming could have been a little better but i love the fact that you went out on a limb and sent in a hacked coaster. I wish it was just a tad faster, but it was nice nonetheless. I can't remember what i voted for two minutes ago, and i won't pretend to have a favorite in this matchup. (doesn't really matter anyways)

I can see how CP6 won, I guess, but for MA to not have at least ONE vote comes off as very suspicious to me.
