Congratulations, very well deserved.
Some more thoughts on the park itself;
I think it's already been stated, but the entrance area does feel a little sparse. It's fun and has a very open atmosphere, and the buildings that are there are very good - it just doesn't feel like the grand entrance to a huge theme park.
Dinky Park and Moo Moo farm are excellent; I like how you've made the karts take different routes depending on the lap they're on. Something I'm sure I'll mention a few times are the little side attractions you've added to almost every area; Shy Guy Bazaar and the maze near the farms in this case. This is what made this feel like a true theme park in my eyes, coupled with the themed buildings all over the place.
Thwomp Ruins was great fun to look at; I really liked how you incorporated the drop tower into the area here. Luigi Raceway and the two minigame flat rides are really cool as well. It was fun to see more elements of the games included other than just the kart tracks. I thought the restaurant near the raceway would have been a great place to relax and watch the racers fly past - really well done here.
Mount Wario is probably one of my favorite areas in the park. It feels like a ski resort with the lift and all the small details you've added in. DK Mountain was also fun to look at for similar reasons; the lakitu pulling the kart back from near the monorail was a great touch.
Yoshi Circuit was another high point for me, it's very well made and the incorporation of the helicopter ride and the row boats was a good touch! Grumble Volcano and Bowser's Castle came together really well, and I'm glad you have the lava flowing from the volcano around the moat of the castle. It adds a sense of continuity between the two areas and avoids having each track seem disconnected from the rest of the park.
Rainbow Road <3 The train here did seem a little odd, but I understand where it comes from, so it's not a huge deal. Ghost Valley feels a little bit isolated, but I also think that it suits the track. Koopa Beach was probably my favorite; I love the tropical atmosphere and all the marine life moving about. The big cheep cheeps look a little funny in the face department, but eh; it achieves its purpose.
Dry Dry Desert feels a little out of place, but it still works for me. I do wish the pyramids were a bit larger. Waluigi Stadium is another track that I have fond memories of, and I think it looks really nice in the park as well. Shy Guy Falls is another really well done area, especially with the mine train you've incorporated in. If the park had more rides in other areas like this (which would have been tough) I think I would have scored this higher. I don't know exactly how that could have been pulled off, but a water ride around DK Mountain or something would have elevated the areas even more. In the end, it's about the kart tracks, and I think you've done an excellent job at making them the focus of the park without sacrificing overall coherence or the feel of a theme park.
Overall, great job, and congratulations on Spotlight!

Loving this just for the fact that it's got DK mountain, by far my favourite track/map in any game

Oh man, wow! Thank you so much!!!!
When i started building this park I didn't set out to achieve a spotlight, nor did I expect one when I submitted it. I knew G Force and trav wouldn't vote this as a spotlight, but the high rating from you two was a tip of the hat in itself. And trav's advice to me pre-release may have helped tip the scales for some other voters. Thanks to the 7 who felt this was spotlight worthy. And as for Steve, you were supposed to give me feedback on this park 2 months ago and I never heard back from you.
I really appreciate the solid reviews from Kumba and CC9, both coming from different understandings of the park concept and Mario Kart series.
It was fun park to build and I'm glad you all can enjoy viewing it now that it's released.

Wait a minute, that red thing on Yoshi's back is a saddle?!? All this time I thought it was some kind of hideous birthmark. My world is false.
Easily one of my favorite parks I've seen on this site. Going into my motivation folder.

Super park. Well done. So refreshing to see. Seems full of happiness and enjoyment when building. Some really killer theming here and there too. Beautiful design choices.
Always thought you would be great one day. Maintain your uniqueness and treat us to more of it.

Remember that Yoshi first appeared in Super Mario World. The only thing he could do in that game was being ridden by Mario and obey to him. He also used that red thing on his back as a seat for Baby Mario in Yoshi's Island.
Anyway, this is a really nice park, full of ambiance and also full of nostalgia with all the references to older tracks. I still wonder how you made the karts stop when they face a krab (flying saucers car). This is brillant!

You've come leaps and bounds from last H2H. This is really enjoyable, unique, original, and the themes are so immersive! I'm going to be looking at this one more closely for a while to suss out all the little details.

Best. Park. Ever.

OK so I don't know Mario Kart that well to be honest, but I just scared my wife loudly saying "What the fuck" when the cars hit a crab and stopped, and it created a backup.. That's the best hack i've seen in years.
Brilliant park.

I just noticed that the karts actually stop, interesting mechanics for karts, it might be usefull in the future for something.

i hope this is the future for rct. actual theme park followed to its natural conclusion

Unfortunately I'm in agreeance with Steve on this one. It's probably because I wasn't hit by any nostalgia having never seriously played any Mario Kart games other than the very rare occasion at a friend's house so maybe I'm not seeing as much recreation brilliance as others. At it's core this park was a number of go kart tracks, which no matter how brilliantly themed or incorporated into an environment [although some of the hacks were incredible] are still just go karts.
I mean, I can't complain about the archy. In fact the vast majority was really good and formed some excellent theming elements. Also the foliage was quite solid and relatively convincingly portrayed the different themes effectively but then I'm kind of left thinking "and?" Maybe I'm just too set in my 'this is what RCT should be' ways but I was honestly more interested in the mine train coaster than any of the tracks; I was more confused by the positioning and contextual composition of the entrance to the park than impressed by how well areas transitioned between each other; I was more likely to enjoy the macro of rainbow road than care about cars stopping because of the crabs or taking alternative routes [as impressive as both hacks are and should be recognised]. I just couldn't separate myself from viewing this park as a number of [albeit brilliantly] themed go kart tracks and didn't feel encouraged to find the details because they were attached to the individual tracks and not to the park.
Just wasn't my cup of tea unfortunately bsg, nonetheless congratulations on the prestigious spotlight. 75%, although nearing 80% for me.

This park has actually gave me the urge to play double dash, snes version and the nint64 version on my Wii. It took some time to set up with all the mods but in end it was worth it!
