Description
I put this together for the /r/rct (or /r/rollercoastercontests) February contest, and its the first thing I've done with the game since about the time this site went from NE4->NE5. So 4-5 years? And on top of that, its the first thing I've finished since a little TPR contest back in '11.
The bench was provided by the contest host, and the parameters were that we had to have one big ticket woodie, a junior coaster, two flats, and some sort of tracked ride.

Thanks Bill, I appreciate it! Cocoa absolutely crushed it so I'm happy I lost to that haha

I love the coaster and theming. Great park!

It took you a while, but congratulations on your first accolade! I thought this was pleasant and well made enough for bronze. Simple, but atmospheric, good looking, and with a good woodie too.

Woah, damn, was not expecting to see this when I checked the site today. Honestly, had nearly forgotten this had been passed along to the panel.
What a wild feeling. I used to be obsessed with RCT (and roller coasters in general back) in the day and used to fantasize about being immortalized with an NE accolade. Literally would spend hours staring at parks like Zippo's at home, or scrolling through overviews during my computer-based classes in middle/high school. Obviously, at 23 years old now with totally different interests and priorities, not to mention the multiple times I've completely forgotten the game was on my PC, I don't take it as seriously as I did when I first discovered this site. But regardless, its a cool feeling to see that on the front page and to know some of the most creative people in the world of roller coasters thought my extremely simple Reddit contest entry (and excuse to play the game again) was accolade worthy. I've always had tremendous respect for everyone here, as people from our conversations on the boards and obviously as park makers. So thank you to all those folks and, thank you especially to all the admins who have kept this thing going strong since I first discovered this community. And thanks to everybody who downloaded and checked this out and felt it was worthy of the bronze.
Forgive me for the long-winded rant of sorts there, figured I needed to thank the Academy or at least say something. This is pretty neat.

Congratulations! I think the architecture was a little weak but the atmosphere and layouts were awesome and made up for it. A well deserved bronze
