Description
This entry provoked quite a lot of hatred, angrer, and controversy to say the least. That was because it was the entry that got me my parkmaker spot as I beat Corkscrewed to enter the final four, which Kumba had promised parkmaker status for anyone to make it that far. I’m sure that many might have ran away screaming after viewing the overview and not had a chance to look at the park, as it is one that requires opening to fully understand. It is based on the rumored secret underground base in Dulce, New Mexico, with a twist as the bottom level is a Vekoma torture machine to test the limits of human tolerance. This was different from my other entries since I started from the top and built down, which would be the logical step for an underground base. It required a lot of reading on the supposed contents of the base for me to try to capture the true feeling of it. I literally almost went crazy from reading it. With the message that anything possible could be hidden from us, I had thoughts secret government technology could have been messing with my head to keep me from finishing it, or I could be abducted and had experiments done on me, or some crazy shit like that. Needless to say, I won’t be reading more about it for a while.

Congrats nonetheless, but I think I have to agree with the other three ^.
Yeah but really, before you guys overthrow the site, Ill just let you all know that if Im really going to get to be a parkmaker, I will sure as fuck not let down the standards of this site.
Also looking at the overviews, I really do think Corkscrewed's looks a little better, but I suppose the judges liked my ideas and concept more. It seems to definately play a part in the judging for this contest. I wont lie, on Sunday, I was about ready to give up and turn in a half-assed incomplete entry featuring only the top half. I was just out of ideas to add and finals/life were kind of getting to me. But I started making the coaster along the bottom, got more into it and was pretty impressed with the way it turned out. It does look rushed and incomplete in parts, so hopefully when I take the time to make a full complete solo, it will display my skills a little better. This is completely unexpected though, especially against such a good opponent/entry.
So hopefully for the large portion of you who are probably pissed at this right now, it will look better in a few months. The rules been there since the start though and nobody argued it so I guess Kumba is keeping his word.

Just wondering though, how is Camcorder22's Parkmaker page there on the page already, while 5Dave's, Junya Boy's, and Levis' are not?

Still, I'll consider him a parkmaker once he releases a big park as I feel that should be a qualifying feature here. 15x15 parks are difficult to make well, but in a big park is a whole different story. Congratulations, but I'll be waiting for the park.

Congrats on the parkmaker spot. I don't agree with it but if thats what is done, congrats.
Heres the thing tho, this is an official NE contest and with that you always have at least one Non-NE Parkmaker go the distance and grab a spot. Thats what happened here. I am just glad it was only him, otherwise its all NE Parkmakers who are still in this.
But fuck... I wanted to be the one to beat Cork

Alright Camcorder, get that complete list of your works to the NE gmail inbox ASAP so I can get started on making your page, and possibly shutting up all these people who say you are not worthy (or possibly making them louder! LOL). I really want to see what else you've made, besides these micros, that warrants this parkmaker spot, cause I don't think i've ever seen anything from you besides your entries in this contest.
We have too many parkmakers. This is just retarded, and Cork probably should have won.
Exactly, to me it seems that there are too many people becoming parkmakers way too easily. When I used to play it took a hell of alot to become a parkmaker, aka a couple of spotlights or something incredible etc. I personally think that if Iris was still in charge we wouldn't have half the parkmakers we have now. All of the recent p/makers, Levis, 5Dave, Camcorder and Junya probably wouldnt be parkmakers if Iris was still here (maybe apart from Junya). I don't know whether Kumbarse is doing it for popularity or just to keep the site updated, but I think it would take more than a win over a "not in form" corky (when corky should have won) to become parkmaker. Surely it would be more wise to make the WINNER of Micro Madness parkmaker (if the winner isn't p/maker, obv. (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm guessing the winner will become parkmaker if he/she isnt currently one))
But still no offence to the guys who have become p/maker, congrats and everything.
In my day it would have taken alot more, thats all.
Oh, and I don't want anyone saying "you don't know nothing you don't even play anymore blah blah" because Im speaking from past experiences.
