Great project Jappy, nice silver!!! I was a little surprised to see two 60% votes, but overall it was a good score, though I think it could have squeaked out a low gold. Either way, your work is getting better all the time! I'm sure the Olympics will develop your skills even further!

Thanks BSG! I'm trying to improve all the time and test out new things. Glad to hear you like it.

I really like the restaurant near the car ride, and the paht leading to the gardens and the gardens themselves. That's some classic simple parkmaking which I like, try to achieve sometimes but always fail in. Good job and congrats on the accolade!

Thanks Faas! Great compliment. Fun little fact: for the gardens I didn't only took inspiration from real life pictures from AT's gardens, but also a lot from the LL scenario.

Congrats on the silver, Jappy. Not that far away from gold.
First of all, I want to say that I enjoyed this park a whole lot. I love atmospheric parks and this was definitely full of atmosphere.
The entrance area was nice but felt a little bit empty and lifeless. I’m sure you could have put more effort into it. Regardless, I love the gazebo-shaped café/restaurant - very nice. I really enjoyed the lake with the miniature track next to it. “Lake Cruisers” was a nice touch too. Maybe I would have preferred something else than Jungle cruise boats. But that’s no big deal.
Onto the T.A.R.D.I.S area; I don’t like the style very much, but I still think you did a pretty good job with this area. Sonic Shooter is great. Love what you did there. The coaster didn’t do much for me. Nonetheless I love the transfer track section. It’s really cool. And yes, the building with the simulator in it looked pretty sweet to be honest. Good job with that. Phoenix was nice too.
The Mexican area is probably my favourite. I just love the colours, the dirt path, and the atmosphere. So good! The architecture is kind of simple but yet so effective. I have no complaints about this area at all – so darn nice. The river rapids work well here too. I always thought you were good with those. I also enjoyed the placement of the train station. Definitely fits like a glove, in my opinion.
When I go through the park, I just love the attention you put into details like stalls, games, cafes, signs etc. Brilliant.
I guess the next area would be the kiddie area. I like this area too. Little Helies and Rapid Racers were great. The trampolines were even better. So good. The playground was a nice touch as well. Don’t know what to say about Pinball Party though. I guess it was ok, but just like T.A.R.D.I.S, it didn’t do much for me, but it wasn’t bad. Liked the colours though.
I think you missed a lot of good opportunities in the castle area. Just like the entrance area, this felt lifeless and a little bit boring - at least “inside” of the castle walls. Maybe it wasn’t meant to be full of life, but I think you could have done more with it, maybe just a market where peeps are able to buy something to eat and drink. Maybe even just a few entertainers could have brought the area to life. Regardless I like the architecture. The castle looks good.
Unfortunately Melancholica didn’t do much for me either. I don’t know what it is, but I just don’t feel it. Maybe it’s the station building, the surroundings, all the cogwheels or something else. It just didn’t work for me, but pretty cool to see nonetheless.
The Sherwood Forest is a great area. Really liked it. I freakin’ like the diagonal lifthill of Robin Hood and the Easkerton Railway beneath it. Fantastic. Robin Hood is the one coaster I like the most in the park. Thought it was fun to watch. The log flume was nice too, but I think the track was too short after the final drop. The boats didn't have enough time to slow down. The barn was neat. Good job with that. Overall a lovely area.
I think I should stop here. This is your best work yet, Jappy - a very enjoyable park, in my opinion. I had a lot of fun when I watched it in-game. I think you did a great job with it and I can’t wait to see what you do next. Big ups!
