Imo I think that every part of a spotlight should be as close as possible to being spot on whether it is foliage, architecture, or ride layouts and I don't think that both the foliage and ride layouts are quite at that level. Kanoen and balder in particular really stand out in a bad way as far as layouts. Kanoen should be muuuch more compact than it is, and I think that balder should be shorter than it is.
A lot of the trees on the mountain weren't working for me either Especially the 3x3 trees that had brown and grey trunks. There were also a lot of weird 1k ruin placements. They were in weird bare areas that just made them stick out a bit too much.
Anyways sorry if this is a bit incoherent not the best writer in the world.

I absolutely love this. It's so whacky and quirky, just like RCT should be like in my opinion. You have created an all new aesthetic it seems.
Architecture was awesome, no complaints (that little theatre to the right of the entrance was a highlight for me).
Another favourite area was the log flume station area with the rowing boats in the middle, great work.
The scale was also just about perfect for me as well.
The foliage could have been better and that's literally the only thing that's stopping me from voting 100%.
One of my favourite parks ever, very well done!

IDK it seems ridiculous to me to say that 'spotlights must be 100% perfect in every way'... like somehow a park having imperfect foliage and everything else amazing is a dealbreaker. BGA definitely had less-than-perfect foliage, unfinishedness, etc but because an established member made it we shoot it straight to the top. IMO, it feels like people get 'jealous' of newcomers who build fantastic parks which could get spotlight, and it makes them feel better to give it gold...
anyway I'm opening up the can of worms again and I really shouldn't be. sorry mods

What I find I really enjoy with this park is it's built in a realistic style, but still brings the love! I often find too much realism makes me bored, but Liseberg has a lot of fun going on, the quirkiness makes it enjoyable to explore. I think it's great you worked in some customs rides that we don't see very often, but they fit in very well here. This is a absolutely packed with details, I think you consumed yourself to make sure everything was right on point, it's everywhere you look: Fountains, games, stalls, trims, planters, custom rides, coasters, racks, lights, benches etc etc etc etc - especially considering you maxed out the object limit!
Honestly, many of the screens you posted didn't really make me overly excited, not as much as you got other members riled up. But checking this out in game has really changed my opinion. I would definitely lean towards spotlight, but considering how the opinions fly on that matter, it really doesn't matter. You've created a masterpiece that should make you proud no matter what the score you receive!
And finally, I really want to thank you for your readme, the backstory and dedication makes me appreciate this park even more! I hope you keep building in rct!

Hey, take that back! The only jealous guys around here are Version1 and myself! We will defend our title at all costs because it´s the only title we´ll ever get, so gtfo!

I vote for calling the new Accolade the "Anton Schwarzkopf Memorial Accolade"

Cocoa, I respect you and all, but because your opinion is it should be Spotlight doesn't mean everyone should think that.
In my opinion it's very good, but at first glance I see a couple things why people could say it isn't Spotlight worthy;
-Layouts, some seem awkward and not really flowing (Lisebergbanan and the flumeride particularly)
-Originality, it reminds me too much of the way Tivoli Gardens was constructed
-The log flume, it sticks out in a bad way with the track merging
-Atmosfear's and Helix' station is too blocky and sticks out
-Inconsistency, not every backside has interiors, some just plain brown walls
-Gothia towers frontside not that aesthetically pleasing
-Missing blacktiles around the park which would give it that finishing touch
-Some foliage issues (the darkish tree sticks out, tree trunk coloring)
That's just being EXTREMELY picky as this park has way more to enjoy. But what I'm trying to say is that if Westwinds didn't get Spotlight, which is very comparable as it's kinda on the same level and the first big park from it's creator, this shouldn't as well..
That said, I think BOTH Westwinds and Liseberg should be Spotlights.
Both parks have some minor flaws tho, which is why I can see why people say they shouldn't be Spotlights. I just think we should be less critical and give these parks the benifit of the doubt.

I wasn’t sure if to comment on the Gold/Spotlight issue or not. Honestly, I’m still not sure, but I’ve decided to speak my mind. I hope I don’t offend anyone. It’s not my intention at all.
First of all, thank you for all the comments so far. I will respond to each and everyone after the AP score is revealed. However, I can confirm right away, that a lot of the critique that many of you pointed out is legitimate. This park is full of flaws. The foliage is without a doubt the biggest one, in my opinion.
Now to the Gold/Spotlight matter. I’m not going to lie. I would LOVE to win a spotlight - just like everybody else. However, it wouldn’t feel right to win, unless people genuinely think of it as a Spotlight. It wouldn’t feel right to win a Spotlight just because we see them so rarely. No matter what score or accolade it gets, I'll respect the vote. Not that I necessarily will agree with it, but that’s a different story.
No offence, in the end, this park is so much more to me than just an accolade. I wanted to recreate this park for so long, and now I've finally done so. To be able to share all of my memories in this park, with all of you is a damn fine bonus! It makes me genuinely happy to know that you guys enjoyed it.

I think any sort of 'unfinishedness' in BGA is due to the object limit.
I've only had a quick look at the map since RCT2 won't open for me on Win10 anymore and I just can't seem to get it to....
This looks far from spotlight material to me Cocoa. It's a nice park. I see the quirkiness aspect, but the overall composition is strange, jumpy and incoherent, and the aesthetic ideas need development. It'd be rather nice to see that happen though.

Well, I've spent a lot of time looking at this park, and its really a tough decision for me. This is such an odd park, some parts are just awesome, some parts not so much. Partially I think its due to it being a semi-recreation, as Liseberg is just a mess of a park in real life with no flow or organization behind it. You did a pretty good job of capturing that I feel, as a lot of it felt forced and crammed just like the park is in real life.
The coaster are really hit and miss, Balder is probably my least favorite, the steep lift just didn't work at all. Helix and uh, the mine train were much better, just a shame the foliage is kind of medocure. The landscaping othewise was really well done, the hill was probably as good as you could make it as well as the river, so nice work with that.
However, I just wish you would of spent less time on the buildings around the park, especially those high rises near the main entrance, they are nice but block a lot of the view of the entrance that I think is important to have. Same with those brick apartments near the top of the map, they are nice but to me dont really add much to the park, you could of just cut it off at the street and I would of probably liked it more.
That being said this is definitely an awesome park, there is so much content and detail to explore, definitely a great accomplishment and truly pushing the bar on new element for detailed realistic parkmaking. I think this park deserves a video review and will try to have one up in two weeks.
Not going to comment on score or spotlight until after the park gets a score, but its definitely right there on the boarder for me.

I think this park is amazing and totally spotlight worthy. There is so much creative content.
I really enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere of the park. The ride interaction, especially between Helix and the Schwarzkopf, is amazing.
In some places the park is a way to chaotic and feels sometimes a bit unfinished.
But overall a fantastic debut park from you!
Congratz on the spotlight.

Not really surprised about the Spotlight accolade. It's well deserved and this park is certainly one of my favourites already. Will say more in a video review soon.
