Description
I've been working on this park for a little while, it was a fun little whimsical project. The general concept here was the park being set in late 70s/early 80s on the beach of Seneca Lake in New York. Really there is no cohesive theme, this was done to be a bit more inline with parks of this vintage.
Much of the architecture is fairly simple style, again trying to stay inline with the concept of this being a small lakeside park.
So with all that in mind, I hope you have fun checking out/playing the game like I did! - 1 fan Fans of this park

The mix of the scale and level of detail certainly hold this back from scoring higher, but don't take away from the enjoyment you clearly had making this and I had viewing it.
Those complaining that too much of the map is water or whatever, clearly haven't spent too much time at small lake or seaside parks. I've only been to a couple of those myself (Indiana Beach and Waldameer... Cedar Point is lakeside but it's enormous), but I can tell you that they do not lack character or atmosphere and neither does this.
I really liked a few of your buildings where you put in a bit more detailing. Window fixtures and such go a long way. Having stuff like ride entrances and exits visible, even in a peep friendly park, is rather frowned upon these days since it can be done cleaner (though I myself have yet to learn how).
This kind of reminded me of the old Mike Robbins "RCT Station" style of park, which were wonderful because of lively and colorful they are, rather than how intricate or accurate to reality. It succeeds at radiating the feeling of being at a small park on a warm summer day, with the cool breeze rolling off the lake as the first hints of evening start to roll around. The ice cream may be the same soft serve cone you could get a McDonalds for 1/3rd the price, but it'll never taste better. The old wooden coaster might pale next to it's modern equivalents, but the smell of greased tracks and a few pops of air will make you forget everything for a minute.
A romanticized view for sure. But still one worth crawling into for a little while now and then. Best of luck with whatever's coming. I hope we'll see a thing or two from you in H2H? You could really kill with some architect backing you up. ^_^

I just noticed your comment a year later. Thank you for an honest take away. I most likely won't partake in H2H, I don't play the game quite consistently enough.
