Description
I've been working on this park for a little while, it was a fun little whimsical project. The general concept here was the park being set in late 70s/early 80s on the beach of Seneca Lake in New York. Really there is no cohesive theme, this was done to be a bit more inline with parks of this vintage.
Much of the architecture is fairly simple style, again trying to stay inline with the concept of this being a small lakeside park.
So with all that in mind, I hope you have fun checking out/playing the game like I did! - 1 fan Fans of this park

Well to start out, I quite enjoyed this, the theme and scenery really added to the park, was colorful, and fun.
I like the ride choice, seeing a steeplechase was nice, as well as a shuttle loop in the front of the park. The layouts were ok, but definitely not the strong point of the park. Obviously more detail could have been added to the rides, but overall they were all strong.
I liked the park layout, simple and believable despite being a bit cramped. Some of the foliage was a bit overload, like I said the park seemed really crowded.
Your architecture was good and I think you achieved what you wanted to with it, like I said, the color and fun factor was great.
Overall, I think you achieved your goal of a fun whimsical park, while also building something pleasing to view.

Doh, I thought I didn't select any TT objects. Sorry guys.

I wanted to check this out but TT .
I've found it's easier to just uninstall Time Twisters. That way you don't have to worry about accidentally selecting a TT object.

Since you've just included one TT stall, I took the liberty to replace it and re-upload it here. I hope that's OK, if not, I'll remove it. Just thought this could use some more votes and views.

I suffer from the same issue, just stick to using pre-build benches or make sure you dont use any TT/WW objects. If you find you have TT/WW objects in your park simply use ParkDat to remove them.

I really like this a lot. It might be a little crowded, but there's a lot to look at in such a small park. I think I've mentioned in the overview that the layout is a little square in the middle. After downloading it, ride layouts are okay, but could be better. The steeplechase could be modified so that they actually have a closer race by adjusting the hills to be lower on the outside ring. The woody was good but perhaps a little tall. Serpent was excellent but a little short and heavy on left hand turns. And the log flume was just kind of thrown in there without any clearing of trees around it or anything.
But yeah, overall, I loved the simpler architecture, and the things I mentioned are nitpicky. Well done.

I enjoyed this. The scale was huge but it reminds me of the way I used to build parks and it definitely had a fun atmosphere.
I loved Seneca Cyclone's queue area and the coaster layouts were nothing earth shattering but they were well paced and aesthetically very nice. The chairlift (with the correct cars... good job) with multi colored cabins added a lot of atmosphere though I wish it didn't turn like that. Von Roll's should only turn on the ground if at all.
Very nice little park though. I think it's a worthy bronze and it was a fun throwback / macro scaled park.
EDIT: And Thanks ITM. Look at you going above and beyond again...

That's one thing I wish I had done right in the beginning, was put the skyride in, in a straight path an built around it. By the time it irritated me, the only clear path would have caused me to rework much of Seneca Cyclone's queue and station.

I like this in the sense that it is exactly what you have described it as. The park really feels like it of that era which I think is a job well done.
As others have said nothing earth shattering in terms of coaster layouts etc... but all work and fit in with the theme and the era you have defined. Also I have the same problem with triple thrill pack, its so annoying. Can I ask how can I be sure which items are TT/WW and which ones aren't when importing through park dat?

Im not really sure either, which is what I seem to run into with every park.

What I, and several others, have done ourselves, is to take a fresh objdata folder, from a new installation of the game, and sort the .dats in the folder by date created, which can then be used to filter out the expansion objects. Don't delete them permanently, just move them to another folder or subfolder.

Cool park. Pretty decent construction on the buildings. I really liked your steeplechase. Cool ride design. Keep it up!

So do you mean the expansion pack objects will be installed after the initial RCT2 installation and will have a different time stamp than the standalone game? And henceforth can be removed that way. Good idea thanks for the tip

pretty nice stuff. the architecture was generally pleasant, if a bit bare. however, all three coaster stations were highlights IMO, much better done than the rest of your buildings. It's just a bit small and lacking content, if you had filled more of the park instead of water, it would feel more like an actual park to me. But overall, pleasant work, although I got through it pretty quickly.
edit: deciding vote, whattup
