    One is RCT1, the other is RCT2.

    *sigh* Another person robbed of Spotlight. I would have given this spotlight to Twisted, that park was amazing. He should have gotten it for the sheer size of the park and the quality of the park. The architecture is amazing in that park, with a practically unseen style to it (I was doing a park of a similar, lighter style at much the same time, believe it or not, but I've stopped because of this, just about). It's so original, and the sheer size of the map is great. I would have given it to Twisted, no doubt.

    The RCT1 park looks quite nice, but I haven't looked at it quite yet, so I can't make any assumptions on whether or not my choice of spotlight would have ended up in Twisted's hands, but I just wouldn't have handed it to Lost Era Resort.

    My two cents, and if you don't want them, give me them back.

    I loved CRCTN and Avaitor and OZone's park. The ireland area was leet...but my favorite was the voodoo area. I also thought that the layout of the splitter was good. Usually, I say, oh...another split coaster. But this one has a good layout and interaction between the parts of the train. Good archy all throughout. The spllitting woodie was majorly lame though.

    Mystilogica was totally awesome....but Lost Era definetly deserved spotlight more. Mystilogica WAS pure CRCTN, OZONE, and Aviator work, and thats what made me love it...the coasters were excellent, and the overall feel of the park was incredible.

    On the spotlight round as a whole.........

    Twisted's park was great. The only bad part was that the coasters didn't use blocks, or even wait so that only one train is on the lift at a time, but the architecture and theming was phenomenal.

    Twisted's park owned the last Spotlight... too bad this didn't win because that park is now my #1 favorite RCT2 park, such great landscaping and coasters.

    1st of all, Aero Globe, i see where ur opinion is coming from on the quality basis, but the "sheer" size of the park? Anyways to my comments on the parkies

    -Twisted´s Kimmeragh Glen.. Nice, RCT2, had a while to look at it and found out that there is a way to use jagged rocks more then i ever thought possible =P not that i didn´t like the park, it looked ok, but the contrast of the white buildings with the dark theming didn´t work out the way it probably did for Twisted himself (afterall, he filled an entire map with it) the coasters weren´t my favorites, with some strange layouts. Definitely deserving the runner up position tho, and i´ll be looking forward to the next park from you ;)

    -Mystilogica.. Again a VERY nice park, AWESOME theming. I love the area with the black the most, but i had a few gripes.. the coasters, again, had slow spots, the coasters were sometimes (sometimes it was good but) needlessly hacked. and the turn lift on the woody was ugly. The draw bridge was awesome, haven´t quite been able to do that so that really impressed me. The whole hacked coaster thing is beginning to get a bit old, we really need someone to do something original with it again.. i have a lil´ idea for myself again =D.. overall another very deserving runner up.

    I won´t judge on whether one should´ve won spot..

    Lol iris, good guess on the Greek area being Ozones or Aviators but its actually my area, hehe. Its quite cool that the page has all of my areas and nobody elses. Ill leave more information when I get home.

    I think twisted deserved spotlight for this round but i still think lost era was a nice addition to the spotlights...

    I think the rct1 era just gave lost era spotlight....
    I think an rct2 park has got to get one soon

    I downloaded Mystilogica and all I got in the zipped file was a word document, strange. I will download it again later and edit this with my thoughts but when I last saw it, it was looking very good. Congratulations on the runner-up.

    Twisted's park I wont download and look at because I don't like RCT2 and wont waste my time changing the disks between 1 and 2. It looks very nice from the screens though. Good job.

    I had the same exact problem that TPM had. All I got was the read-me. I then asked someone to send it to me through AIM and I still only got the Read-me. So its definately not just TPM, its me as well.

    Twisted's park had a nice look to it but it was all jagged rocks. The whole park. WME's park was two maps with actual terrain and Twisted's was all jagged rocks. There were some nice coasters in there certainly and a good looking tree selection and even though the buildings were all pretty simple they looked good. Still, I think Evil WME's resort was by far the winner in this round. Mystilogica was very nice, I liked the VooDoo area the most but I'll look at that park some more.

    What I meant is that he used a quite large island in one map. There wasn't a resort map, it was another part of the theme park. That's what I mean by "sheer size". You don't often see parks quite that big (except for that Testudo park and Mike Robbins' stuff).

    just unzip the zip file.. it´s probly coz the sv4 has too many letters.. had that with LER too when i named the hotels and waterparks in the zip file ;-) -- but it´s definitely there

    I have to agree here. Some jagged rock is good, but not every square of map without a ride or path on it. Congrats though on runner-up! ;)

  • Description

    This was started directly after Illusions Isle. Not my best work to date, but worthy of another runner up IMO. My sections are Italy, and the African/Voodoo occult town. Aviator and Coasterct Nick also participated in the construction of this park, and the three of us together managed to get a Runner-Up with it, and place at number 49 on The List for the park's debut. Not bad for some of my older work.
