Description
This park was started about the same time as SoV. I was in both, doing main parts as I was on a role of park making. It is an RCTU park, featuring Prince Ashitaka and parts from Generation X. It’s an all dark park, my sections being “Dark Lands” featuring the great Pawn hacked 4d. And the section containing the great steel “Terrorizer Tales”.

LOL, I was just one of the finishers (X-Sector to RRP). I did the gigantic LT in flowers.
They all look really good. Gardens of Desire looks especially nice, and I wanna get home and look at Big Top Circus. Supertrooper seems to have done a really good job there.

Thought Supertrooper did ana amazing job with Big Top Circus. The themeing was bright and festive which fit the theme well. so many little great ideas in there like the trapese in the circus that just made this park so fun to look at. A few of the coasters were a little sloppy but it didn't take away from the park as a whole. Great job supertrooper, really.
Nirvana, sorry Kumba , i loved it htough. I had already seen the first map which was great with some awesome coasters. Anubis park i liked to call it. The second map, although very little there was great. the flyer was awesome great supports as usual and i especially like the dive machine for some reason. i kno u can do it next time keep it up.
Saved the best for last.... Damn Junya that was really one of the best RCT2 parks ive ever seen in my opinion. The best part of the park is easily the coasters. the themeing is top notch but not breathetaking, but the coasters more than made up for that. I loved the flyer, great supports and AMAZING with the pretzel loop. real cool. I also like the BM inverted. it had a simple out and back layout but very effective i thought. one thing i didnt really like was the parade idea. i dont kno the idea was different but not that cool i thought. and it would probably be annoying in real like imo. but anyway i really loved thi spark and its now one of my favorites.

GoD - when it comes to grate Runner ups G.O.D. never lets us down lol, this park was off the chain and lucky for me junya boy is a frinde of mine so i got to see this park about a week ago. the hacking is stunning i was wondering what game i was playing at first, that flyer was awsome all the coasters were like always, the archy is grate but i personal dont like that type, i just dont see the point of makeing usless buildings that you would not see in real life...but ok yeah it does look good
Nirvana - I was hopeing very much for spotlight but really i did not try hard enought, like with Dimensions in the end i rushed it on a hunch iris was gona do a list update being SWA just won, and their are a few erorrs in the park (im not gona say where)
The park i feal was grate and had some outstanding rides, the best i would say is Dueling Spirits an insane dueling woodie that murders the others i have done in DC vs Marvel and Dimensions, next The curse of Anubis a Hulk like B&M LIM coaster that has a lift hill tunnal, track in the loop, Tri locking corkscrews and some bad ass supports.
The Best thing about this park to me was the fact (other then a screen of as object i made) no one had seen the second map untill today. yes a few guys from my culb did know it was 2 maps (coz AP let the cat out of the bag lol) but had not seen it, and others may have had a clue coz i did drop a few hints. also sorry it was so small i just had a few more idels i could not help adding, and it was 160x160 so it would line up with map 1 (btw i was not trying to copy euroscape i had the idel befor it was released). aslo Junya Boy is not the only guy who can hack, on the flyer i intruduce the flyer loop but from now on its known as "The Kumba Loop" lol j/k, overall id say Nirvana (Project 28) probly has the best collection of coaster in any RCT2 park out now.
Big Top - WOW (no not his other park) but wow this is a hell of a show i loved the curicus show, it was a blast was were the coasters and archy very creative i cant wait to work on some RCTI projects with you
LT - if it was my contest this would be the spotlight. that Paradox coaster was un fuckin real, my jaw droped when i saw the coaster split in half then come back togeter. who did that one? this is a very cool all around RCT1 park highlighted by the hacked coaster a hell of a park.
And thanx for another grate runner up page and review iris.
A very happy Kumba

I can't wait to open up LT a little later, I've been waiting for that park for quite awhile. I guess this would be a good time to go dl SoV as well?
Nice job everyone.

Pawn hacked dat coaster. The layout was done by either gen x or crctn tho.
Junya boy is my hero. I "tested". Now, I want him to do something like an entropyish area.

Nirvana - I'm glad that Kumba could get another runner up so soon. I enjoyed it, though it wasn't my favorite work from you Kumba... I did like the coasters, and your use of custom scenery was great. - 8/10
Big Top - I must say, I'm am glad that supertrooper got some recognition for his work. I had the pleasure of testing this park for him, and I am very glad that he made some minor changes. I loved the creativity put into this park. Good coasters, great archy, and wacky and cool theming make this park a keeper for me. Great job Innovators on your runner-ups this round! - 8.5/10
Gardens of Desire - The first thing I have to say, is, WOW! That hacking is amazing! LOL, well, its very good for RCT2 anyway. I'll start with some criticism, then finish up with the good stuff. Personally, I didn't like the ground wall types you chose to use. It looks a little messy to me, but may look good in other's oppinions. I also thought that the archy was very repetative, and reminded me a little too much of your last park. (Which isn't bad, I'd just like to see something new) The flowers were also a little too much for me. I didn't like their color schemes, but again, others might. Also, I thought the impulse was hideous, but I guess you had no choice there... Now on to the good part. The coasters in this park were great. I loved the names, MOST of the colors, the layouts were great too. My personal favorites were Vibe, which was an exellent 4-D, the Woodie, and The flyer. Great hacking on them all. I also enjoyed how the parade turned out. Well done on that.
I guess I dont know what else to say... 9/10

I'll list these in order of favourites.
Big Top by supertrooper
Wahey! This park is bright, breezy and brilliantly thought out. The entrance is my favourite large area simply because of the colours and the wonderful mine train. I really like the buildings with all their balconies and overhangs, and RS's iron scenery is put to excellent use. The circus stadium was a great idea executed very well indeed, and I thought all of the coasters were good. This is a fantastic park, so congratulations supertrooper!
Garden of Desires
The hacks in this park are indeed new and intriguing and help enhance the coasters no-end. Especially that LIM - it's great! I also really liked the steel coaster with the steep diagonal lift. I think the coasters really carry this park, as the theming is a little tree-heavy and there isn't much in the way of large-scale landscaping. I will say, however, that the waterfall/garden corner was quite nice, but would have been a lot better with the train doing a little tour around it. A great improvement on Dez-Morais, and I can only predict good things from Junya - just try and make the theming a little more interesting (look at Big Top to see what I mean) to support the already excellent coasters.
Nirvana
Yay for good architecture! And also those shrunken trees are ingenious! There are some great ideas in this park - the sunken 'pit' coaster for example. The coasters carry this park, mainly due to their size - the wooden duelers are enormous, as is the giga. But the treeing/shrubbing is very good and there's a lot of water incorporated into the theming which I like. The second map is a bit perfunctory, but the supports on the flyer are impressive (as is that cool loop you've got there). Nice Park, but perhaps lacking a bit of the pizzazz you had in Dimensions - if you mix the ideas and creativity of Dimensions with the skill of Nirvana then I reckon you'll end up with a much better challenge for spotlight.
Legendary Tales
This may be last in this list, but it's by no means a bad park. The theme is a tough one to pull off and this is one of the better 'dark' parks i've seen. I think most of it is let down by age - I don't think parks age that well, and this one's been going for ages! But, by the same token, it's perhaps some of the newest additions that I found least entertaining - the Prince of Darkness/Light coasters were a catastrophic addition, completely killing the centre of the park. They didn't even duel properly and were shrouded in trees. Even the slightly more interesting LIM coaster couldn't save this area of the park. But, Paradox was a wonderful coaster making full use of luge/split/4D hacks. Hmm...I liked the split and luge parts, but perhaps it could have done without the 4D section...by that point I felt like the coaster should have ended, and imagine yourself in flying position going backwards (feet first) for a long time....not a comfortable position to be in! Anyway, I liked most of the park and the architecture made up for the lack of real entertainment. This park was a bit like a morgue - fascinating in one way but deathly boring in another. Well done to RCTU for your (third?) runner-up (counting Paradise Falls).
Nice round, this one. I enjoyed it a lot.

a girls only coaster
about the parks, possibly later, but i thought the rct2 ones were all "ok", the circus one the nicest and most pleasing to look at.. possibly more than pleasing, so much real rct2, wonderfulness.
then the rct1 one was pretty much shit. I mean the theming was a bore, the coasters weren´t great. Paradox hanged on that cobra roll for ages. Nice start but Sheez, i was bored with it after that start.

I started the park just for fun, because I thought the theme was something I could really run away with. About half way through it, I realized how much fun I was having building it and thought that others may have just as much fun viewing it. That's when I began contemplating sending it in to NE (for my first submission).
I realized it probably had no chance for Spotlight...because I don't believe I'm "up to par" yet, but figured I had nothing to lose by submitting it. So, I am glad people are enjoying it for the most part.
And congratulations to the other runners-up (not "runner-ups"). I wasn't able to view the LL park, but after looking at the RCT2 parks, I was very impressed and am honored to be included in the group.

One thing i notice in my parks is that i need to work on landscapes. I just get lazy when it comes to landscapes...
All n' All, congrats to those who made runner-up. There were some nice parks here.

This was a lot better than dimensions was and i consider this to be Kumba's first proper park. Though its primitive and lacked the creativity that is the Kumba trademark, it was somehow tasteful. The "shores" part is a lot better than the main park too.
