Sure, I recieve some RCT2 submissions, but Im not gonna make one spotlight until the quality is there. I mean, every rct2 park I've seen so far either only has like 3 or 4 coasters, is 90% trees, is completely filled up with water, and so on. Why diminish the quality of the spotlight just to transfer over, especially when there are still great parks left in RCT.
When people submit good enough parks to win spotlight, there will be RCT2 spotlight. The two parks that won Pinnacle Parks, ironically enough were both at one point submitted to NE, and were both on their way to being Runner-Ups, because I just don't feel that they're really past the point where they deserve spotlight. Dark Realm Islands was nice, but so repetitive. The closest a park has come to winning spotlight here in rct2 was Mysterious Realms by The Judge, and he knows that.
There are some great RCT2 parks in the making. Busch Gardens San Simeon, Walt Disney Escape, the many ones ToonTowner are working on, Vicenzia Hills by Iced Tea, Disneyland Hawaii, Rivers of Babylon. Basically, what it all comes down to, I've yet to seen a park in RCT2 that really impresses me. That goes for all the parks at the Staton I've seen, the parks that were submitted here, anything. People are just rushing to get done with the "first rct2 parks around", and the majority of them just aren't that good. So until good rct2 parks start being made, we're staying in the "rct1 era".
Great job.
