i'm not sure what to vote on this, on the one hand it's amazing and the park is themed rather good, with all the efteling references (vogelrok, de vliegende hollander etc.) but ofcourse it's not as realistic as the modernday parks, but that doesn't matter, this park screams fun and i'd consider this park amazing even today.

I'm kind of in agreement. The pirate area is definitely my favorite and it has some really nice moments but I don't really know how to rate the rest of the park since it's so different than the modern day parks.

Why don't more people post full screenshots of their parks? Is it very difficult to do? (How do you do it?)

If you mean the full overview, that's put together by admins (and I think a group of mapmakers) behind the scenes. Older parks, and certain newer ones only have zoomed out overviews, since they are extremely time consuming to make. They require black-tiles to be cut out, and for several zoomed in screens to be stitched together.

I've been trying to download this, but there are a lot of objects missing. Should I re-download, download each object individually, or wait for a properly exported version?

Did you open the right file? If I remember correctly, three of the four maps are unexported.
Tigre, it's policy to only make full aerials for accolades, or micros as for them it's no extra effort. Any other full aerials are charity.
Also, 68% is a fucking crime. The park is flawed, even when it was new, but despite the huge amount of hotels and forest replaced by tarmac, it's still a very high quality park... The western area and the German area especially are very atmospheric.

i guess people are voting it based on how good it was for that time

Just got a chance to look at this, and I must say it's true Dutch parkmaking at its finest. A great atmosphere without being overwhelming. Also, it must have been a ton of work, this was a huge map! I give 75% just for pure atmosphere and work. I enjoyed it.

this is going to be really funny if it ends up being submitted for an accolade

The aerials are now probably the coolest on the site... You can cycle from 1984 to 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2006 and look at what changed. The park grew the most during the 90's, and since the 1995 savegame is the new one a lot of the 'narrative gaps' have been filled now!

Do you think that he was inspired by Efteling at all?
