Description
Thorpe Park is a very heavily inspired park based on the real life theme park in England. The park was once an open quarry but is now surrounded by water on it's very own "island". The thrill capital of the UK packs a punch with a great selection of flat rides, water attractions and three world class roller coasters.

Now there's a release I'm very excited about!
Big up for the fact how you realized to recreate the Thorpe Park atmosphere in RCT so good! You may say it's just heavily inspired but I felt walking trough the real Thorpe Park watching your park.
Even the entrance and the parking lot have that Thorpe atmosphere, amazing. I loved those tilt cars in the western zone, they are sweet. Colussus and Nemesis Inferno are the two best rides of the park, and I loved Tidal Wave as well.
Spotlight material if you ask me.

My congratulations to your first Spotlight and to the status as a legendary parkmarker, you really deserve this airtime!

You've gone from being a relatively unknown player to a legendary parkmaker in such a short space of time.
I'm so proud of you.
It has been great pleasure to watch you progress from weaker than me, to the same skill level as me, to surpassing me in every aspect. And now there will be no more arguments as to who is the better RCT player.
You deserve this. I love you dude.

Just logging in to say congrats man. From someone who worked at Thorpe Park for over a year, this is pretty darn close to being perfect. Of course you've had to sacrifice realism for aesthetics and stuff in areas, like Stealth and Rumba are much further back in real life, but honestly, I don't think you could have done Thorpe any more justice.

Congratulations on your first spotlight! You found the perfect balance of recreating what you wanted to portray while keeping everything so aesthetically lovely in RCT. A pleasure to meander through, and an inspiration for sure!

I don't even know where to begin because there are so many great things about this park.
I think my favorite thing in the entire park is the Boat games booth. That thing is flawless. The trackitechture blends perfectly and the way you made the games is very creative. The same goes for the arcade near Nemesis Inferno's first drop... the way you made the games is awesome.
As far as rides go I think my favorites were Nemesis Inferno which has to be nominated for best steel coaster of 2014 (even though it's only March), Tidal wave which is probably my favorite splash boat ride ever in RCT and Slippery Serpant.
On the topic of Slippery Serpant this kids area is awesome. I know Slippery Serpant is a small ride and will probably be overlooked but I hope everyone takes a minute to appreciate how perfect and realistic this ride is.
If I had to pick anything I didn't like it would probably be the rapids ride but since it's based on a real park I'm not sure how you could have done it any better than you did. There were a few areas across the river from the park that seemed a little bare but I'm sure that's because you were maxed out on scenery. If you had to make any major compromises because of this they didn't come across in the final release.
Overall this is a fantastic park and is right up there with Starpointe for my favorite RCT park ever. There are so many great little details (like those awesome food carts and the rc boats) that the more I look at this park, the more I love it.

Damn... didn't even had a chance to vote on this.
I'll check it out soon, with comments later.
Congratulations though.

This was awesome. It was al so believable. I absolutely loved the area left of the entrance with the three flat rides.
Oh, and of course congrats on the spotlight!

Oh, shut up louis! You'd be at this level too if you'd release something full size.
On the other hand, this is brilliant Airtime. You're obviously extremely talented. Congrats on the spotlight, and 100% yes vote.

i agree with inthemanual. airtime has worked 1 1/2 year on this, if louis were to do that he would be sure of improving his parkmaker status

congrats man, you've worked really hard on this and deserved it. even from the screens you showed i wasn't sure if it would come together on a whole, but the composition was brilliant throughout the entire park.
i hope you keep building..

Wow thats pretty cool!
A lot of creative ideas. I really liked the entrance pavillion and the custom caroussell's. The river rapids reminded me a lot of the one in the Europa-park in Germany!

Hmm , I not sure about it, The park has some great details, and really good looking rides. But the architecture looks to small at some points. And maybe to much collor, but thats my opinion
And will there be an update with Swarm and Saw added to the park
Rest looking good !

I will admit it I am a detail freak so this park is right up my alley. The kiddie land rides are great I have never been there but from the links you provided it really looks close to the real thing. Congrats on the award

My first impression is that this is a good park, but not as legendary as some of you make it out to be.. I mean, that X-(Box )hall.. It kinda ruins the awesomeness you had going on with almost everything else. No matter how realistic or close to the original you wanted it to be, it just sticks out as a sore thumb imo.
Also, while incredibly detailed (and I imagine that costs a lot of time to achieve) I would've liked some more content.. But I'm a sucker for big parks tho
That parking lot is probably the best I've seen in RCT. Same for the entrance area. Also nice path work at places, but I'm not really feeling that road part (never really like it in amusement parks, like I also didn't like it in DAW)..LOVE the diagonal boat and Tidal Wave adjacent to it. Coasters and custom flats were of very high quality as well (lol at using a golf course ride for Vortex).
Well deserved Spotlight and kudo's for creating such a detailed piece of work! I would've voted 85%.

^I completely agree with everything said here.
Perhaps I need to take another look at this, but it didn't amaze me at first. Perhaps it'll sink in later, but my vote still stands at 80%.
Edit: I think I can explain why something doesn't seem right. While everything is executed nearly flawlessly, the park itself only occupies 25% of the map. Even though that's how the park is in real life, I would've liked to have seen a bit more theme park and a little less surroundings.
