15 Rue du Mont Cenis, 75018 Paris, France

    gorgeous as usual.

but these flat-textured awning that people are starting to use are hideous.

Wow, awesome work. Seeing this makes me want to start brainstorming my World Showcase project again. Definitely hope to see more than just you messing around with this.

definitely agreed. but what should I use instead? are there better awnings in that shape?

My issue is that somethimes when you add colour to a certain texture it makes it look cartoony, and no longer fitting to the theme or setting.

I also think that the scale is HUGE!

    It's nice though.

Wonderful work cocoa, it's really great, just thinking back and seeing how much you've improved over the last few years, amazes me, great little story. :)

You need some diagonal path tiles :p
I've made a workbench for h2h6, and it included new path objects, including the bricks you've used in your screen, and they also have the same texture on all 4 views so you don't get a checkered pattern when you turn the objects..
This is v(ersion)4, but when I find time I'll post v5 of my workbench project (have to include some new objects I made for h2h6)..

If people are interested I can post all of v4 of my workbench project in the cs section..

Screen looks amazing btw, I love your style, so much atmosphere!

I don't "get" diagonal path tiles. I know they have to be recessed to make the clearances work out, but then you have half a tile lowered and you either have to cover it with a random land tile lump, foliage (covering the diagonal tile almost completely, rendering its existence moot), or cover the other half with a different path type, and pray it doesn't glitch horribly.

^No, most people use the lower (large) scenery function in map object manipulation for lowering diagonal MT path objects on (diagonal) land.
However, with the group i just posted you can use the 1/4 (diagonal) objects, and you don't have to lower land.

Thanks a lot Six Frags. :)

I didn't even knew there where so many quarter tile paths, those will be usefull for sure!

^I made them especially for h2h6, so most of them are new, altho Toon made some 1/4 tile path objects too a long time ago.. I found that out after I made these objects tho, and he only made the tarmac and crazy ones I think..

oooh, those paths look lovely. definitely will steal the grey stone and red brick ones too. paths are something I wish I had more of, there aren't a whole lot of good ones and I don't want to look monotonous. same with windows :p

Man I wish you had posted this earlier sixfrags. I've been having a lot of problems with the diagonal paths and this would solve all my problems. fantastic. back to parkdat... which is a fucking pain the ass.

If only there wasn't a limit to the amount of objects a bench could include.. :(
