EDIT: this has merged into my general work thread so scroll down for more yummies.
So it may be a taboo but I think it's finally time for me to get a topic for my LL park. It feels good, I haven't opened a topic in ages...
So its a Disneysea park basically, with some of my own features and shit. anyway i like it so far.
Moving it over from the dump.
this update will be focusing on the Mississippi River Coastline area, a quiet, relaxing strip on the edge of the mysterious island mountain. I'm going to try and do updates on specific areas every time.
Tiana and Naveen's N'Orleans Restaurant, a vibrant, bustling kid-friendly themed restaurant starring all the characters and stuff from the Princess and the Frog. The dinosaur stuff is from Journey to the blablablabla
And if that wasn't "hackedy" enough for the modern LL scene, here's Steamboat Willy diner to hopefully help it out. Progress:
Cool. I'm glad that there are still some traditional LL parks out there! The architecture is very generic, but if that's good or not depends on how the other areas look. Make sure they have different styles.
The steamboat is awesome. The trackitecture is really functional here, especially the wheels at the back just work! The chess pieces look good here too.
seriously though, its good to get some positives from serious LLers like Posix and Milo, and everyone else too.
Liampie, I hope my styles should be varied enough and I was really going for a more traditional approach. I find a lot of the new parks just too overwhelming. beht oashyer (sp??) did it well, but I struggle to like even some of BGSS.
oh, I also noticed my flowers aren't watered. I'll try and do that before I post the next screens
I like the simplicity and general style of the architecture. It's nice to see a quaint building, with minimal hacking/codexing. You have the right balance here.
It's great to see a Disney park with an older style feel to it. Cant wait for more.
And the steamer is just so inspirational, I may call on you for a guest spot at some point

I love that dome, that's the first time I've ever seen that done before. Nice details on the ship.
