the i love you was for saying you built this for fun and not for accolades. i respect that alot. i think its been lost in this site abit. i dont know, i suppose im still pretty new, 9 months or so at this site. oh dear, just looked at my post count :S haha
so i opened this up just now, and i actualy am in love with you now.
i would have given this 16-17, this tickled me so so much.
the layout had its flaws, but overall made for a very exciting time following it about, you just need to work on its fluency and fluidity.
the foliage was well done, could have been better, but that sshouldnt be too hard at all.
the landscaping could have been slightly better in some places, then again, minor flaw indeed.
the architecture was just divine, i loved it so much. id ask if we could collab but i CANNAOT pull this off at all. i have aloot of respect for this style.
^Well thanks a bunch. I appreciate it. I actually used to post here a bit but i left at the end of 2007. Just picked up the game again. I have about 4 or 5 works in progress, but I'm not too keen on releasing screens. it demotivates me somehow. plus i don't build stuff to impress people. i build to impress myself, and thus I don't need an accolade to tell me i've built something good.
Even if I wanted to submit it, I couldn't. This was originally made about 3 years ago and won a contest on a small roller coaster site. Well it wasn't that great before, so I reworked some buildings, altered the layout a bit, etc. and this is it now.
anyways i have some stuff I am planning on submitting in the future that I think the judges will like.
I'm sorry that i can't help you with that, but seeing a project regarding De Bilt really made me smile, especially because i'm thinking to start making Den Dolder in rct2 some time.

Haha it's too bad that this project was not really related to De Bilt near Utrecht. It was more of a semi-random name that I came up with because my mother lived in Sandwijk for some years when she was younger, and I happened to have visited the area before I finished the project.
I used to pick pretty arbitrary themes and names for my work. As you can see by when I originally released this, I was younger
As I've said before, I'm looking forward to anything you make, Arjan!
Nice little thing this. Liked the atmosphere that came from all the attention given to little things like that walkway or easy rides like the cycle hire or maze. Former could've used with supports not hidden underwater. Looks a bit weird.
Thanks posix. Looking at it now, I think there are definitely some sweet spots and some really rough spots. It really ended up as an experimentation with new and different techniques to me at the time. Really glad you liked it though, especially since it's a little outdated.
I have a failed design that started out promising, but failed when I blew through the foliage and finishing touches just so I could submit it. I'm reworking those parts and hopefully releasing that soon.
But more so, I'm hoping the achieve the first design with a working peepable diagonal station, mcbr, and final brake run. I'm about 30% on that one, hopefully to be released on exactly, if it happens to be possible, June 21.

I've lost all my old work, and I'm just dying to see what I've made in the past. The download link has been dead for ages.
