I have always heard great things from this 'corkscrew' guy, but never actually seen any of his work. Well now i have, and it is amazing. It is inventive, exciting, and most of all, you have your own original style which is great to look at.
As always it's great Corkscrew. You're very inventive in this game and it's always nice to see a new custom ride, which aren't around anymore.
Thx yyo. Sad isn't it? I wish there'd be more Custom Rides aswell, nothing spices a park up like a good CR if you ask me (look at The Aegean by Nate for example, the park on its own is a masterpiece but the custom flats just add that little extra in my opinion). Ah well, I guess it's because of the enormous amount of work and time that they aren't that popular anymore : )

What? People tell good things about me? That's new, lol /> Glad you liked it X250, thx for the reply!
I don't have LL so I can't view it. It's fantastic as usual to see a release from you though, even if I only get to see the screens.
Heh, thx buddy. I might post some larger screens of the ride this evening for those who have no LL on their PC.
i think he's the most underrated parkmaker at the moment.
Merci my friend ; )
He's the most original, also.
Thx Silenced ; )
Very nice Corkscrew, all your Custom Rides are simply beautiful. Now if only they work....Â
Thx sfgadv02. Making them work is as good as impossible, but still some people have shown that, with some hacking and creativity, you can make them (Screamcoaster by RRP for example ; ) ).
That was great corkscrew. Not only was the ride done very accurately without a detail spared, the setting was beautiful and the architecture was definitely its own style and actually looked like it could be real buildings. The landscaping and terrain were beautifully done. It just seems like you've improved in basically every aspect of your game play and are showing no signs of stopping; I hope you're planning on sending something in for pro tour. You are by far the best custom flat maker around and are working your way up there in the other categories as well. Great job!
There were only a few things I disliked about it. One was that the rock by the front of the ride would surely be in the way of the ride's path, and two that there was one queue for each side. I've only ridden a couple of these, but all the ones I've ridden have the queue on one side and the exit on the other, but I could be wrong. I also know that this would've made the project considerably harder but not impossible, but it would've been cool if you could've gotten the ride vehicles to be more of a curved shape as well as the loading platform, like having the seats towards the end tilt up with the ones in the middle being level.
Wow didn't know they made those with inverted seats now...it's a shame they got rid of the Skyflyer at Drayton Manor (at least I think they have) cos it was pretty cool - except one of the times I went on it, there was a girl with really long hair sitting behind me, so every time we went upside down, it flicked over the back of my seat and into my face.
Anyway, about the design - brilliant! Things like the monorail support make my day in RCT. Serious attention to detail there! It's funny about that rock that Phatage mentioned- you made a gap on one side but not on the other. I guess people have to pick their car wisely, otherwise they get their legs chopped off Also, it was brilliant how you used the face-off cars for the middle of each side. And, that black path trick for the rest of the map was inspired - why has no-one thought of that before?!
Great job, Corkscrew. Can't wait till your next full release. You're one of the best active LL'ers at the moment, and I only wish I had the same skill and ingenuity in RCT that you have at the moment.

D'oh, guests their safety's never been my strongest point I guess, lol. Never realised that there was just one queueline for a Kamikaze-esque ride. Ah well, I just thought a double one looked better (symmetry ; ) ).
About the curved shape, I did try it once with one of my older Kamikazes, I think. It might've indeed looked better, but I based the ride structure on a Vekoma Airjumper model when it was loading/unloading (some pic of SFNE's Time Warp ).
Thx a lot for the very helpfull suggestions Phatage, aswell as the compliments of course I might enter the Pro Tour, depends on my lazyness and the upcoming exams.
I don´t have LL but as far i can tell you, I fully agree with: Posix and Silenced
and the screens are nice but very dark!
Thx, I used nightmode for the park so that explains the darkness of the screens ; )

*Blush* : )
Btw Mantis, Skyflyer's gone, but it's been replaced by Pandemonium, one of those Inverted Kamikazes like the one I recreated : )

Flowerbeds that made Xophe's spotlight so popular. In 2005.
