Hey voodoo, nice to see you're still around. You still are on your way to becoming a parkmaker if you'd want, there are lots of parkmakers that I've had squabbles with in the past. But I think your talent is unarguable, and you seem to be a really cool person when you're not stressed out and drunk (I've been there).
You should post more at NE, it's nice to have ya back.
Well I'd like to appologise for that post, you know, I honestly dont know what I was thinking. Actually, I think I was drunk at the time, but im not usin that as my excuse. It was mainly a case of little things building up and then me just having to rant about something, life at the time was quite stressfull with the run up to exams and all. Oh well its said and done now, and im sorry.
Glad you all seem to like the park (so far ), from here on it only gets better really, we've still got 14 more entries! It placed high enough for me, if somebody offered me a 15 finish before the competition I would have took it. The entry was rushed, Il admit that, and If I would have took my time I would have polished up on the little 'bad' spots which are all over the show. In reality though I was glad to see the back of the project because I had a few Ideas bubling over for my latest park "Diego Point".
Iris: I still visit, only certain forums like PT or Ad district, and I tend to be a lurker thesedays, just to avoid being flamed mostly.
Kumba: "In your face Voodoo" - Yeah gotta give it to you man, I knew as soon as I saw your screen that you were going to finish higher than me. Congrats
Steve: "Too many flowers!" - Yeah thats a good point actuali, my next park has that problem sorted though..... I think.
pbob: "And then, new element and rctu drowning, not cool, but it was rather funny" - Thats quite ironic, wouldnt you say. Which is why I put it in. Sorry to AP about that little incident!
Anyways, after appologiseing to seemingly everyone, I think I could have (maybe should have) done better, if I had spent more time on it. Still, I hope you all enjoy it, and hopefully I'll get to release some other stuff at NE in the future.
Voodoo, if you wanted to make a re-appearance and become more active again, I'm sure Iris is quite forgiving on these things. Good to see you post. As for the park, not a lot of exceptional work, but I really liked it. I'm sure you know what the problems are and where you rushed the park so no need to point them out now. This style of parkmaking is very pleasant to look at and to me you seem to have as much potential as anyone using the style, so I hope you stick around and keep building.
^edit: see, he beat me to the punch. He is forgiving!
I liked it...several things stood out. I thought the coasters were all very strong, and I loved Nemesis Voodoo since the first time I saw it. I like the fact that the minetrain had 2 working lifthills...not something one usually sees.
I kinda am at a loss as to how VTD rated this so much lower than NC's...you're guys entries were similiar but it seems that voodoo did everything except the rapids better.
I loved this park, definately best yet. The quality of building when theres still loads more parks to go is amazing. Cant we just skip to number 1 now
I loved the invert, and the twister was good too, but i didnt like the mine train a lot, it seemed too fast for a mine train, i think of them as slower, family rides. I cant begin to immagine what little kids would be like coming to yours.
The entrance area had some amazing arhitecture, the colours/shapes flowed perfect. I didnt notice a lack of buildings towards that back much, i dont beleive the park need them.

Thanks Iris, maybe I'll start to post a bit more, but im still a little embarrased about the whole thing. Im flattered about the parkmaker consideration, although for the time being I think its best I stayed off them lists and stuff. I kinda like being a lurker, though.
It's actually quite hilarious that you apologized...
While I liked your park a lot, the acting like a big cry baby is one of the reasons I scored it low, not to mention the back of the park wasn't very pleasing.
I would kill to have your talent, and that one post really aggrivated me. I know what it's like to be frustrated or have a lot on th mind, but you gotta be chill.
I liked this park, but it was just a general voodoo park. Nothing that was really amazing or daring. One thing that I really liked and didn't expect from voodoo was the great architecture. I think this was by far your best architecture to date. The theming was good but basically what is in all of your parks. I didn't really like the coasters too much, it seemed like each one had at least one part that I didn't like, but that's just my opinion....you do generally make great coasters...Nemesis was cool though.
I hope to see more releases from you .
I accept your apology also, I did do that little part in good fun and I'm glad that you now see that
Voodoo impressed me with "Gouvia Point". I'd never seen Voodoo's work prior to this (because I don't look at RCT2 parks unless they win a spotlight or are in a competition). The entrance area had some amazing architecture. Probably amoung the best in the whole competion so far. The rides were pretty good, with the exception of "Nemsis Voodoo", who's ratings could have used help. The major turn off for me was the wide paths. When they're that wide, it's really hard to get some atmosphere going and the park just looks so empty. Aside from that, if you put the kind of quality that you did into that first themed area, you're sure to become a spotlight winner very soon.

I don't know what this park is supposed to be about, but it's gorgeous.
Great coasters for the most part. I especially like Nemesis Voodoo and Citrus Twista.
I think there's too much space with nothing going on. There are buildings there -- very, very pretty buildings -- just nothing to do.
But the monorail ride is really fun. Seriously, I recommend just following it around in its ride window. Try a couple different views.
