Told you man... ditch the expansions. Gotta work on those custom supports too (and stop building everything on camera - not letting yourself change things is bad).

You called that one pretty much dead on. Fortunately I got the original RCT2 now, so the expansions should no longer be a problem. As for recording, It was nice back when I wasn't as serious about the game, but now I'm seeing the drawbacks. I really thought about what you said over on Reddit the other day, and I'm thinking it would be in everyone's best interest to upload park updates and finished parks every once-in-a-while (with time-lapsed builds here and there) as apposed to a regular series. This way I'm not pressured to upload a new episode, and forced to keep changes like you were saying

As my first time using CS, I didn't expect anymore than this, but I'm hoping some of my future designs will look better.

I don't necessarily think you should stop recording. For your first time with Custom Scenery, it shows that you obviously know what you're doing with the game, and whether you record or not shouldn't really make a difference to that. I mean, I'll be honest and say I haven't watched your videos, but I'm guessing that you do them in a Let's Play style where you talk over them so surely people would watch videos like that to hear your commentary rather than your actual building because if they wanted to see your actual work then they could just download the finished product.

In other words, keep recording it, don't be afraid to go back and improve on areas though. Your viewers wouldn't get too pissed off at you taking a building down and replacing it because they're there for your commentary rather than the simple build process.

Not having WW/TT, i just had a look at that video on your channel. Looks like a decent park (maybe just below the accolade line). I really enjoyed the videomaking however. Cool how you made the pictures fit the (very nice) music!

It isn't necessarily the recording itself (I make time-lapses of my builds with little commentary here and there) But more the fact that often times I feel rushed to complete my builds by the time the next episode is out. It doesn't matter how distant my episodes are set to be from each-other (I did them every other day), but just the idea of a deadline put pressure on me to complete designs, even If I wasn't entirely satisfied. Not only that, but constantly pausing/starting the recording while building, as well as making sure I stay in a general area and work my way around to make the time-lapse more enjoyable, can be VERY tedious. I'm not going to stop recording, but I am pretty sure having a "series" of entirely recorded episodes is out the window at this point. Maybe I'll pick it up again sometime when I have more time, but for now, I'm thinking park updates every week or two (with live commentary) and occasional time-lapsed builds will make the whole experience more enjoyable for me, as well as let me produce better (and fresher) content.

Thanks for your input though. All feedback is really appreciated!

I checked out your videos, they're actually really cool and interesting. And a pretty large fanbase for rct! Watching you work, it seems like you have a rather sophisticated style of building, and its very interesting to watch and sympathize with your thought process as you build and critique yourself the same way I do when building. I haven't actually downloaded the park (no rct on this computer) but I watched the videos and I actually think it got a much lower score than it deserved. I've seen worse parks get a bronze. I may be a nostalgic sucker for some of the WW/TT objects, but I actually think you developed a very interesting atmosphere and some of your buidings (the station for the flyer comes to mind, even though I know its just pre-made blocks) are actually very interesting. It seems to me like you've pulled off the theme quite well. You also have created quite unique foliage that suits the park very well imo. the supports on the hyper coaster were also very nice.

I could see you going far, flux capacitor. and don't stop making the videos, I enjoy watching them, and it sure seems like they're getting to a wider audience than NE. but don't feel rushed or pressured, I'm sure your fan base will forgive you for missing some days or slowing down your production. btw, it would be sick if you could make these sort of videos of some of the other ne releases, or maybe compilations or something. you get a lot of views, and I'm sure everyone would like getting a little more publicity for their parks. maybe you could make a subsidiary channel or just a series or something. btw, I had no idea there was a reddit section for rct. whole section of players I never realized existed!

    I'm watching you :)

Definitely a nice release, as well as your previous release.
There are already signs of quality and nice ideas in your work.
    I can't wait to see more. :)
