Chip, was the ride always that tall? Forgive me for being presumptuous for a second but clues that lead me to believe this are 1) the coaster pacing seems to be uniformly too fast over each element and 2) the support structure and first drop layout could easily be reworked to/from a shorter lift hill height. I think the ride would actually be better with uniformly slower pacing to better match something you would see on a real GCI. Obviously we all have different computers that run RCT at different speeds but unless you're talking about a newer Intamin coaster, rides aren't consistently clearing hills and turns at high 30's to low 40's rctmph. My idea of a good modern GCI coaster is one that links stretches of low, fast hills and banking nuances with taller points of track for turnarounds and breaks in the action - this ride has the former but doesn't really let up enough at the higher track sections. I think you've hit the aesthetics of a GCI layout pretty well but I can't help but think the pacing would be more realistic had the lift hill been lower.
I have yet to be truly wowed by somebody really going above and beyond to mimic the wood structure of a GCI coaster. Whether this could be done at all with old or new scenery or trackitecture has yet to be answered but its something I would really love to see some day.

Did nobody notice this? I must have deleted the rapids track/bridge by accident just before submitting this.
