why on earth would the grand final show before the third place match?

i guess it won't matter because either of the other match could be better than these but still, it just seems odd.

Both parks were very strong. Structures especially; I saw some things in both parks that I've never seen before, which is always impressive. HK's came across as a more successful whole.

Great park guys. Some really wonderful stuff in here. Felt like a mix between Myst, La Reve, and Red River Delta. (you even put in the submarine ride like myst) I think I know two of the people who worked on it, but it does feel like there's a mysterious third person somewhere in there too... Anyway, some great architecture and cool landscaping. Especially around the woodie and the woodie station there were some cool buildings, especially the spires. Very well done hot air balloons and air ships, I liked the one that was coming over the waterfall. Cool stuff. I did feel like some textures were a bit overused and the buildings became a little muddled all around, but it does have a very nice atmosphere so whatever. So yeah, very nice park to go out on, and just another notch in Heaven's Kitchen's amazing amazing season. Kudos to you Liam, and to everyone else on the team too. Really enviable.

As for our park, Fisch sort of summed it up. It was a bit anticlimatic, but we did the best given the circumstances and put up a pretty good park. For our team it was really about the journey here, and I'm really proud of us in general. Some great works to look back on.

Seriously, Posix, Gee (if you're reading this), Liampie, Louis, and any other admins I might have missed thanks for putting on this great H2H for us. It was amazing to get to experience this and work with so many awesome people, and I really appreciate all the effort you guys put into the contest, especially when we were being whiny bitches (when's the third place matchup going up? ). This was a superb contest and every team was fantastic, go us.

And now I guess I should get back to my solo works... sigh. Its just not the same

I vote The Replacements

It just grew on me, and I hope it gets finished someday. HK, this just isn't my style of park and I just found it confusing in some places, although the archy in the left corner was great.

Tough matchup. I'm leaning towards Parque Warner since the realistic style appeals to me. But it seems kind of unfinished around the edges, especially by the ACME ride. First Flight was great though, I loved the interaction, however I think you could have pulled off the theme better, it seemed very bland. The lantern was a great idea and pulled of nicely too. The entrance was fantastic, lovely use of colours and shape to make it stand out well. The architecutre was nicely done and the Firehouse was awesome. The Arkham ride was good, and although the music is well chosen, I think music from either of the two games or Nolan's movies would have made it so much cooler. The China Town area had some very nice architecture but no rides, so it made the area feel kind of pointless. Man of Steel was good and I think the supports are very well done. All in all a very good park, but if it was finsihed in some places, I think it could have been amazing.

Corsair Veredian was very good. Lovely architecture throughout and the duelling woodies were brilliant. Excellent job on those. The way you used the landscape was very cool and although the abundance of floating air ships got boring, some of them were very good (such as in the dried up river and going over the waterfall). The architecture on the left corner stood out from the rest. It had good height variation and the overall atmosphere was very vibrant. The invert's layout was good but the architecture around it wasn't as attractive as I could have hoped. I think the best thing about this park was all the little details and ideas, but as a whole it just didin't come together very well.

As much as I'd love to vote for Replacements, I vote Heaven's Kitchen (but what difference does it make ) Anyway, very good finals match, great job to all the teams who have worked so hard and to Replacements and Heaven's Kitchen who made it to the finals. Also, aweomse job Liam for picking the best team this Season. So many awesome parks from your team it's unbelievable.

I had both parks sink in a bit more and browsed through them a few times, and I'm still discovering new amazing things in CV.. So, as my vote isn't counted yet, I want to change my vote for Corsair Veredian.. I just feel it's a greater experience to "walk through" than walking through Parque Warner, which feels rather atmosphereless..

A more finished product and a real concept that I could view for a while. Some lovely touches added and quite an epic idea. I wish some of the execution was better so It gave the amazing parts more room to breathe but I still think it's a damn good park.

The woodies were sick. It's really full though, almost too full. Kind of hard for me to look at.

Parque Warner felt way too open and empty to me

My least favorite park of you this season I think. (R5 excluded for obvious reasons)
It did in no way appeal to me.. Sorry, I have to say this because you overall were the best team of the competition qualitywise.

Replacements:
This looks like it's just part of a park. This also being the least interesting place of the park I guess. The quality is there in big tons but it's not a really interesting piece of work.. I loved your opening message. Really that must be the best part of the park.
